Even in my state, and we are not TX, there are efficient gun lawyers who’d restore one’s right to possess a firearm, for serious cases. I think that KA asking CS to buy it was in order to not draw anyone’s attention to her class B misdemeanor on file. It had little to do with her right to carry a gun. As to CS, he didn’t do anything outstanding; he lived in TX, lots of people around had guns, one case of robbing in the neighborhood and the rest would gun up. And CS considered KA “the most nonviolent person”.

I wonder if KA even knew that there was a class B misdemeanor on file. She may have thought that since she didn't hear from the botox business that they had given up and not tried to get their money back. A lot of small businesses will send out a letter to the person indicating that they are owed money and that the next step will be collections, but many don't follow up on this as it gets costly.

Due diligence failures appear to be an issue which makes me wonder what else is lurking unresolved in her past, financial or otherwise.

KA's live in boyfriend calls her non violent (passive?). Describes their relationship as really one of convenience (my assessment), one held together by inertia. There's no Hallmark card for that, no Lifetime movie. Maybe he hadn't planned to leave the relationship, but I can imagine KA questioned whether he was really in the relationship.

IMO KA opted not to exit a relationship that had run its course -- with maturity, like most adults manage to do. Divide property, settle up, move on. Get a lawyer for the hard parts, if need be.

If she'd just left, she'd still be on a beach, living the good life. Could settle up over the phone.

But that would've left CS with his esteemed sport and his special friend, giving him the green light to live his own good life. And that's why we're here today. KA wanted to make certain he lost both. IMO

In a matter of minutes, she destroyed the competition and his career. She obliterated MW. There are just no words.

And all for what? To stop her bf from stepping out on her? To prevent an accounting or division of funds?

Her bf will in time rebuild his life.

The world will forever mourn the loss of the warm, talented, rising star MW.

And KA will sit in a cell somewhere eating ramen, let's hope for the rest of her life.

I hope her time in CR was frazzled and far from peaceful and that it was the only freedom she'll ever see, the rest of her life behind bars. And even that is no justice.

If there could be real justice, MW would get her life back.

She would be on a beach, on a bike ride, wherever her eager heart would've taken her.

I also think that the botox business had to report it to LE because they had her credit card, and they wouldn't want to keep it and expose themselves to any future liability. So I doubt they would have opted for the collection process and had to report it to the police.

It should. I can't imagine running a business that can't afford a $650 loss & not trying to ding someone's credit. But that's just how I would want to handle it. Use every tool at my disposal.

Theft of service or theft from a merchant, a misdemeanor -- the same as "shoplifting" and not sent to go to a collection agency. The criminal offense reports on your background report, not your credit history. MOO

And she’s also quite brazen, to be on a bus casually referring random people to come work at the place she was hiding out.

It is very interesting that she told Teal A. That she was "traumatized"about past relationship, and she told something along these lines in a Bali retreat. Before CS.
