I doubt she's preggers. Likely she would have had to take a test before getting anesthesia.

I wouldn't be surprised if, upon her arrival in the US, KA acted like she didn't know who she was, where she was, what she did, etc.

Looks like the hearing is now at 11:15 on the 20th. Also, the State is requesting KA’s medical records from St. Joseph’s Medical Center. I wonder if KA had complications from her plastic surgery and needed medical treatment.

There is a St. Joseph’s in Houston.

Do you think the prosecution is questioning why KA is not attending the hearing this week, or is that something that is pro forma for clients if their attorney requests it. Otherwise, if the defense is using a medical condition as part of their argument for KA to be released on bond (and a lowered bond), then is the prosecution perhaps wanting to see medical documentation that supports this?

It could be possible, but don’t think she had hired an attorney yet if this happened in Houston.

I don’t think we know exactly when she hired him though do we? I think her family was probably working behind the scenes to find her representation in the event KA was captured. When did Cofer appear on the docket?

I wonder if we will learn why she received medical attention?

It would be great if it was for a surgery follow up - to prove to the judge she had surgery since it might be difficult for the US to get her CR surgery records.

Health information is typically excluded from Open Records Acts and/or our eyes. In this case, I'm sure the prosecutor has reason to believe they are relevant for this investigation-- such as KA was treated at St Joseph's Medical Center while in custody. MOO

But doesn’t a patient have some rights to keep their medical records private? I’m not saying the defense will be successful in keeping her medical records private, but won’t her attorneys try to stop it? Can they?

Or maybe if they can indeed prove plastic surgery by statements made to her medical provider then that can support an argument for a higher bond. So not only did she flee the jurisdiction but she took steps to permanently change her appearance. That’s what I would be arguing - and I would love to use her statements against her.

She prolly lied to the doctor too.

Hey Doctor yeah…so I was surfing and the board collided with my face, so I saw a doctor in Costa Rica and the only thing he could do was change my nose. Lol

But the good doctor will know.

She strikes me as that bad of a liar. I don’t put anything past her at this point. JMO.
