I think you misunderstood my comment. I was saying: being pregnant and/or having a child would have made a great disguise on the run, maybe far better than a nose job. Because: IME if a woman is pregnant or a mom, I would maybe use that as my primary identifying criteria, which might make me ignore facial looks altogether.

In jails and prisons, when processing an inmate’s arrival, they send them to an infirmary for a check up and to see if medications are indicated.

She must have needed further testing or care for her plastic surgery follow-up, or some other medical reason.

Re: the "friends" (BIFFs) & "romantic relationship" KA was apparently starting while in CR....

Maybe among the ex-pat community there, most people are friendly/outgoing/make friends easily. If she had been stand-offish or really removed herself from interacting, perhaps she would have stood out more/exposed herself to more scrutiny. Shunning interactions might have been a red flag for others.

I think she was doing those things to appear "normal" like others who were hanging out there (whether there for days or weeks or months or years). I think it was her attempt to camouflage herself in the community.

That's true, but there's also the possibility that she got herself pregnant in CR. Pregnancy would have been a great added disguise on the run, but also would generate sympathy if she gets apprehended or has to go to trial.

To be honest, I was thinking about it as a possibility when the was on the run, just didn’t want to post to give an idea. It is not the first time such “defense” would be used by a woman.

Have any of you watched Mo Wilson’s interviews on YouTube? I remember her mentioning something about other projects she wanted to get involved with and one them had to do with having a space that supports artists or something like that. I can’t find it now and it’s driving me nuts! I went back to watch the interviews again and the part where she talks about this isn’t there. Now I am starting to doubt myself even though I know that’s what I heard! I remember it caught my attention because it had nothing to do with biking. Maybe it was another interview on YouTube, but I have only found two interviews so far. If anyone can confirm what I heard please let me know so that I know I’m not going crazy! I just hope something wasn’t cut out of the video.
