I apologize for what might be a dumb question, but are there ever typically any new facts learned at these pre-trial hearings? I admittedly follow these types of incidents until they get to the legal type proceedings as i lose a bit of interest due to the slow wheels of beauracracy and all the formalities... so i'm not up to speed on these things.
From postings upthread, it sounds like we won’t learn much of anything new related to factual evidence at the hearing today. I expect it will be arraignment, filing of motions, possibly one to address an increase in bond.

We did learn a lot in the Barry Morphew case during preliminary hearings, but I recall that was in a separate PH after arraignment and after the trial date was already set.

Thinking ahead to future trial evidence - it will be interesting to see the evidence of KA’s phone / vehicle GPS movements from the time MW arrived in Austin on May 10 until the murder. How did she know where MW was staying? If KA was watching MW on Strava, her phone history may show that (though she likely deleted her searches, Google may provide the data via warrant.)

Also interesting will be messages between CS and MW, CS and KA, and especially between MW and CC on May 10 and May 11. CC went back to the house to talk to MW upon hearing she was going swimming with CS. WHY? If the relationship had become platonic, (which I doubt), what was the problem? If not platonic, still - why did CC care so much, unless she KNEW of threats from KA? Did CS mention to MW that they needed to stay on the down low, and MW told that to CC?

You never know what will happen. The Murdaugh hearing that just happened this morning, no new news at all except they want everything pretty much sealed and a speedy trial.

May be the same with KA’s hearing.

Live streaming of the courts was more during the shutdown when all parties appeared virtually. I don't think they are all streaming anymore but I could be wrong?
The streams dont stay on youtube forever. But i dont recommend recording any of tomorrow's (or any streamed) hearing if they do stream because it's strictly forbidden!
I stand corrected that channel is streaming

It is, but since KA’s isn’t a virtual hearing, I don’t think it will be streamed
You're probably right. However I did just see a witness (or maybe it was the defendant, not sure--I had it on mute) on the stand in the physical court a little while ago so makes me wonder??

“My expectation is that we’ll have something to say after the hearing.” Armstrong’s attorney briefly addresses the swarms of press outside of the courtroom. Still waiting for her hearing.

Kaitlin Armstrong, the woman who allegedly shot and killed pro-cyclist Moriah Wilson, is expected to appear in the 403rd District Court today for a preliminary hearing today. The judge has to get through virtual hearings first, so we expect Armstrong to be called up mid-day.

Quite interested to hear what the attorney has to say... will it just be a cookie cutter "my client is innocent" statement or something a bit more juicy? My bet is on the former but we'll see.
