People with LDs don't "feel" left out, they ARE left out. Who are you to minimalize another person's experience? Sorry,but you are being very hurtful and dismissive.
EllieBee, Katy was just responding to my tangent about the experiences of gifted children. I know neither of us meant to equate the inconveniences faced by the gifted with hardships faced by those with disabilities. (And, yes, I got your point that one child may be both gifted and LD.)
Sorry if we caused confusion, but the fault was entirely mine. I shouldn't speak for Katy, but I know she and I are as appalled as everyone else that this child was treated in such a manner!
