Details of Disappearance
Huebner, a housewife, was last seen in Houston, Texas on June 9, 1971.

In 1972, Harry Andrew Lanham confessed to raping and killing her. A tow truck driver, Lanham had prior convictions for rape and assault. He and another man, a convicted rapist named Anthony Michael "Tony" Knoppa Jr., are believed to have murdered six young women in Texas between June and November 1971.

They were convicted of one murder; Lanham was sentenced to 25 years in prison and Knoppa to 50 years. Photos of both men are posted with this case summary.

Authorities believe Lanham could have been responsible for a total of nine deaths. He was never charged in Huebner's presumed murder. Twice he lead authorities to places where he said he'd put her body, but both times police searches turned up nothing and Lanham admitted he had lied about the location of the remains.

On December 30, 1973, while he and Knoppa were still awaiting trial in the other murders, Lanham was shot by police while trying to break out of the Harris County Jail. The pending charges against Knoppa were dropped after Lanham's death because Lanham had been the primary witness against him.

Knoppa was released from prison in 1989, having served 15 years of his 50-year sentence. Huebner's body has never been found.

Where is Anthony Michael "Tony" Knoppa Jr. today, and what has his record been like following his release from prison? Only 15 years served of a 50 year sentence?

I’m not finding much at all unfortunately. I think these two photos of Pamela are a little more clear than the one posted elsewhere.

It seems Knoppa died in 2014 in Houston. Multiple death records for Anthony Michael Knoppa Jr are on Ancestry giving his date of death as 7 May 2014. His date of birth is given as 30 January 1948, which fits with a story on his release in 1989 giving his age as 41 at Murderer who vowed revenge now free and looking for police. I don't know his record after release, but the article records his conviction before the murder conviction for a lesser offence after he raped a girl. It also notes his threats to LE and makes his early release surprising.

One indicator of his lifestyle in later life is that he married Genoveva Lopez just a month before his death. In January 2016 she was charged in Houston with felony prostitution. 17 charged with felony prostitution in Houston during December

He was an Army sergeant in Vietnam, so you also must wonder what he got up to over there.

Just a correction: Harry Lanham was shot on December 30, 1972, not 1973.

Without DNA, no information about her weight and height, nothing peculiar about her, it's hard to say "this could be her", but anyway, I found some possible matches:
The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) (not very sure, because of the clothes)
It's weird we don't even know the circumstances of her disappearance, but I assume Pamela had a problem with her car and, unfortunately, Harry Lanham and Tony Knoppa were there to "help".

She looks similar to this woman found in February 1977 who probably ly died from hypothermia. Her belt had the name Carol stamped in it, however. Caution, mortuary photo but not graphic.
