First time poster here. I've been following this unfortunate case, and I can't stop thinking about it.
My husband has been in the AF for 10+ years. When I first mentioned this story to him, his immediate response was "someone planted those items in the armory". It wasn't my initial response, but I feel like there are a lot of questions that aren't being answered.
1) If in fact she was going on a run in those clothes, why haven't they mentioned that her uniform was among the items in the building?
2) Why aren't they mentioning anything about the supervisor/co-workers? I know the military doesn't like to give out info, but why haven't they mentioned anything like "her supervisor said she came in that morning acting normal with no redflags"... It just seems it had to have been an inside job, and they're trying to either crack down on it, or completely sweep it under the rug.
3)Why is this being downplayed so much? Why isn't there a national coverage on this? My husband said he's never heard of offering rewards, so he believes the Army definitely knows way more info than they're giving us. The military likes to keep things hush-hush, unfortunately. After looking into Ft. Hood, it seems A LOT of shady things go on there.
On top of those questions, I'm assuming the army has told the sister and brother to keep quiet on other info. I have a deep feeling that they know someone was stalking her or harassing her.
