So who had the felony warrant?
Did you not see the word IF in my post? [What if they suddenly discover that one of the guys has a felony warrant out on him? ]
So who had the felony warrant?
Miller completely stopped the investigation while officers attempted to move him away from the suspects.
That's what I saw when viewing the video of this case.

I agree that the charges will be dropped and find it sad that some are crowing in delight about a possible smudge on the record of Miller.

Officer Goodie said it was because of drug activity in the area. This leads me to conclude that in general the area was prone to drug activity but nothing happened that day or evening that would cause her to be looking for a suspect of a crime.
Exactly. Simple, direct, concise, respectful. If they had started with that they wouldn't even have needed to ask him to put his hands behind his back. How hard would it have been?
There's a good chance, imo, the charges are going to be dropped.
What's the going rate for Tazing lawsuits now, $40k?
They were out of town guests?
And I think it was happening in an apt. building parking lot. They were just being questioned.
It is fine to go look at what is happening. but he should have complied upon the first request to stand back. He ignored several requests and two warnings.
Nothing happened?
I do not have access to ---
- all the MSM vids taken at that scene, so I don't know what was edited out for TV.
- all the cell or private vids taken at that scene, whether posted on SM or elsewhere online.
- Grandview PD blotter for that day or evening or days, weeks, months before.
- Grandview PD reports Goodie or other LEOs at that scene wrote previously for incidents in that neighborhood.
- Grandview arrest reports for the three (four?) men at the scene and being questioned.
- Grandview arrest reports for Miller, if any.
Hoping any ppl w this info will share w us on Websleuths, as some here wd/like to have more info.
Some of us are not drawing 'final' conclusions about this alleged crime, based only on quickie clips we've seen so far.
Some are.
They called it a homecoming so I assumed they (the guests) were former residents of that area.
Miller said he lived there and Goodie said she knew that.
IMO he was trying to find out what was happening and to assure the officers that they had made an error in questioning these men. They were his guests and he could vouch for them. IMO

Granted we can only base our opinion on what we have seen so far. I agree. But I'm going by the comment of Officer Goodie that the issue/investigation was due to drug activity of boys and girls in cars and that is why she felt compelled to investigate. IMO
Suspects... of what?
Chuckles - a death by US LE that they can't prove justified or think they won't be able to prove justified is in the range of 5 - 6 mil these days judging by many an LE type death thread - most removed - unnecessary tasing will get 'ya way less than that in the US imo.
So you really have no idea if anything had happened that day that they wanted to check out.
I know it's higher if the person dies and I didn't search too hard, but this is where I got the 40k:
