We all do, but unfortunately it may not happen the way we want. The only reason he wants his son is so he will not have to pay child support to the grandmother. Those are his words but because its not in text or recorded there's no way to prove he said it
What a sorry excuse for a man! I know the courts err on the side of the biological parents but the mother is missing so there may be a chance the Judge takes that into consideration and leaves the child with the grandmother or whoever has him for the time being.

We are hoping the judge does this, leaves him with the only family he has known, but it may not turn out that way

he recently started paying before she disappeared, prisma has had full custody since he was born, he had visitation rights but never bothered to come see his son, up until it was on the news she was missing, then all of sudden he wants his son
Why did he suddenly start paying child support? Had Prisma taken him to court?

That’s coincidental to start paying and then Prisma disappears. Does he live near where she was last seen?

I thought the focus was on the lunch time jealous ex boyfriend. Now I wonder....

No, he doesn't live close to where she lived, and we think the same thing as you do, he starts paying she disappears, we are now waiting on Judge to render her decision, a lot of testimony from the family, and from the father of her son, mostly which the judge caught him in lies, along with the fact the attorney general was there, and has a special interest in this case, now its just pray little man stays with the only family he has known

I’m so glad the Attorney General was there. That has to count for something. We are all hoping and/or praying he gets to stay with the family that knows and loves him!

winter63 was there something said or discovered during the hearing that no one can talk about? Seems everything got quiet. Moo.

I wasn't in court room, the judge only allowed lawyers, prisma's mom, and the father, they called in people who were testifying one at a time, lawyer would only say he(father) lied multiple times on stand, attorney general gave prisma's mom a paper for child support, at this time it looks like to the lawyer and family little man may get to stay with family, but its up to judge to render the decision

That sounds promising, especially if he lied on the stand. Thank you winter63

Have they found the person she had lunch with? Or is he still missing?

So they were sequestering witnesses so one could not hear what the other said before testifying. That is a good thing for the ones that are telling the truth. I watched a trial once and saw a guy and his gf testify against an ex and I was in the courtroom just watching so did not have to be kept out, and their stories were so opposite when questioned about details yet when they did a police report months before they said the same things, until questioned in detail on the stand where they could not compare notes nor talk to each other in between their testimony. Praying for Prisma and her child, the family and her friends.

A while ago @winter63 told us here that he did not show up for work in the days following Prisma's disappearance, but I don't think he went missing.

@winter63 did they continue the court case or just waiting for judgment?

Looks like the case has an update-6/25 correspondence - letter to file...is that good or bad news?
It depends on the type of letter but most likely it doesn’t have much bearing on the outcome of the hearing which will be filed in the form of “Order After Hearing” or similarly worded order.

Hello I am new to the site but I have been following the posts for the past few weeks. Winter63, I was wondering has Prisma ever disappeared before or been estranged from her family for any length of time while she was a teenager or young adult? Has she always been close to her family? Seems odd that she would make a call to someone asking for help and would not call her family. There have been posts on this site and reports in the media where it looked like the family was not really sure of where she worked at the moment she disappeared or who she was seeing. I am also very curious about the BF or EXBF and if he has returned to work.

she has never disappeared before, she wouldn't leave her son, he was her world, we are also not sure why she wouldn't call the family, but it could be we all live outside of Dallas, and the friend she called lived in the city there, no one really knows for sure. As for her BF OR EXB we haven't heard anything on either of them.
