Ramiro Garcia, 38, was last heard from on September 1 at about 1 p.m. He was driving a white Nissan Altima, which was later found abandoned on private property.

Maybe it's his love interest's property. Maybe it's not abandoned. Did they search the property to make sure he isn't stuck or injured somewhere nearby?

Family searches for missing Charlotte man whose car was found in different county

A panicked family has been doing everything it can to find a 38-year-old father of four who disappeared more than two weeks ago. The family hopes the public will help the Atascosa County Sheriff's Department's active investigation.

"He's our baby brother," Becky Ramos said.

Surrounded by family, she stifled tears and opened up about Aug. 31, the day Ramiro Garcia disappeared.

"He was eating in Pleasanton with his wife and mother-in-law. He's currently working at Golden Chick in Pleasanton, and apparently he got a phone call. One of the workers asked if he would go in and work for them. He said he had to run an errand and he'd be in later," Ramos said.

Garcia never made it home to his wife and kids that night.

According to the Atascosa County Sheriff's Office and Crime Stoppers, Ramiro Garcia, 39, was reported missing in September 2016. And despite several leads, his case remains unsolved.

Therefore, officials say a $5,000 cash reward will be paid to anyone that can provide information leading to Garcia’s whereabouts or leads to a Grand Jury indictment of a person or people responsible for his disappearance.
