TX - Sandra Bland, 28, found dead in jail cell, Waller County, 13 July 2015 #3

Do you have a link to substantiate the claim that her family 'ignored' her? I'm thinking you must, as you've said this more than once.
There was an interview with a woman being held in the cell across from her, who reported SB was becoming upset that people were not getting back to her. Certainly no one rushed over there to get her out.

I'd guess that was why she wanted to use the phone at the desk and not the normal phone for inmates. Can't leave voice mails when you have to call collect.

That has to be an awful feeling. It doesn't even sound like she got to shower since she was brought in. You can't just use your phone to call people. People can't just call you. While you're busting to get this all behind you, you can't set the pace, and no one shares your sense of urgency that you don't belong in jail. To me, she seemed pretty fragile before any of this happened. This was like a perfect storm in a lot of ways.

I'm wondering if BE was thinking that his dash cam would not record the incident (because of a full card like the female LE that showed up) and that is why he lied during that conversation to his superior (or whoever he talked to). If he didn't lie but didn't remember everything correctly because of faulty memory then he should never have been LE in the first place. If he remembered correctly and lied to cover his own arse then he definitely knew he was in the wrong.

SB didn't pay off her court costs. She didn't carry automobile insurance and lost her license several times over not having insurance. I doubt she paid for a private lawyer.

To assert his authority? To show that he was in charge and she would do as he wanted, when he wanted? Because he hadn't taken someone to the ground yet and wanted to do it? So many possibilities.

If BE had only explained to SB that he wanted her out of her car so she could sign the ticket. Or at least that was his first reason given to his Sgt. lol Instead he gets hostile very quickly and we all know how it went from that point on.
What a mess. IMO his intention was to make it difficult because he was angry because she was correct about his actions before the stop. The cigarette sent him over. IMO

Maybe I missed it, but I don't see any cussing there.

Not sure if your comment was in ref to my transcript, but her cussing starts immediately where left off on what I posted.

Do they even view the cams unless there is a complaint? Who knows if they do even when someone complains. He sold his Sgt on his version and that would have probably been the end of it. IMO

From Trooper BE initial 925/926 Trooper: well you can step on out now (*1) to 1037 Trooper: Get out of car ** SB gets out holding up phone appears to be filming (*16) The Trooper told her 16 time to GET OUT OF THE CAR/GIVING YOU A LAWFUL ORDER. 1 min 12 sec...

When I was going over and putting times on my transcript (that made for myself) today. I hadn't heard SB say this (BBM), and it most likely why Trooper made his exchange, he is repeating /acknowledging what Sandra Bland said!

1014 Trooper: Send me another unit
1015/1016 Trooper: Get out of the car (*12)
1017 Dispatch: need another unit 2457
1019 Trooper Get out of the car - NOW (*13)
1020/1021 SB Why am i being apprehended? - you trying to give me a ticket for failure
1022 Trooper: NOW
1023 Trooper: I said GET OUT OF THE CAR (*14)
1024 S: Why am I being apprehended?
1030 Trooper gets taser and points
1031 Trooper Get out of the car! (*15)
1032 SB: And then you gonna stun me ETA: change from Light to Stun
1033 Trooper: I Will LIGHT YOU UP- GET OUT

1035 Trooper: NOW **Trooper backs up
1036 SB Wow * starts exiting
1037 Trooper: Get out of car ** SB gets out holding up phone appears to be filming (*16)

I feel like people are having a great time thinking her family did not care for her. Ll

Well. My choice was in the wee hours, in the dark, in the 1980's. I most certainly would have stopped for that cop Sandra stopped for. And I would have left there with a warning. On my way, none the worse for wear.

IMO, that's a BIG call to make. It must be a good feeling to KNOW that any interaction you have with the police will be positive and have a good outcome. I don't think that is so for EVERYONE, and Sandra is a prime example. JMO

I listened to another video on youtube and I heard SB say ' you're going to stun me' I could be wrong though. IMO

"And then you gonna light me..." could be in reference to turning on his lights to pull her over. Especially after saying that she moved over because she thought he needed to get by her in a hurry.

I've seen and heard the video several times. Some people keep saying that he had a right to order her out of the car, and arrest her, because of the language she was using. All the times I've heard it and the times I've read transcripts, I've never heard/seen her swear before she was forced out of the car and out of camera range.

Respectfully BBM, your correct, SOME PEOPLE do keep saying that, on these 3 threads, and in SM. HE DID HAVE A RIGHT TO HAVE HER STEP OUT OF THE CAR. There is even US Supreme Court cases to back it up. SOME PEOPLE are also keep saying that he had to tell her what she was arrest for at the time she kept asking, Again, that is incorrect and also US SUPREME COURT cases to back that up. I posted links few pages back... There are a lot of stuff SOME PEOPLE keep saying that isn't true.

I listened to the full version with earbuds in and Ms. Bland does say "You going to stun me?"

That's what it sounded like to me but it is hard to hear because BE is talking over her. IMO

What was the point of calling for backup if BE had no intention of waiting for backup to arrive? BE really took a chance with putting his arm and top half of his body into her car since she had a "weapon" in her hand.

I don't know anyone that would be pleased and happy when pulled over by LE. Of course Ms. Bland was upset, like others would be, and I'm sure that BE has dealt with other drivers that were also upset. If his training did not teach him how to deal with drivers then the training needs to be looked at and reworked. If BE did have the proper training in how to deal with drivers but did not use the techniques he learned then he needs to no longer be a trooper that deals with drivers.

She def wasn't scared.

This is known how? Sometimes women (and men) will talk trash even though they are in fact scared. I know this from personal experience. To show fear to a bully is the worst thing that one can do, IMO.

BE wasn't scared either as evidenced by him putting not just his arm but his upper body in her car. But he sure was more irritated than she was, IMO.
