If the ex-husband is guilty and was trying to establish an alibi, he just might have mentioned the Rolex during his TV inteview knowing it wouldn't be found on her body. Perhaps she owed him money from the divorce or for child support which she hadn't paid and he became furious over her buying such a frivilous gift for herself.
Another thought that crossed my mind..........the way she apparently blew through money, could she have had a big drug or gambling problem and owed a large sum of money to someone and they came to collect?
I'm surprised, also, that they didn't have surveillance cameras in that model home. It seems so bizarre to me that no one saw anything on that Saturday at the time the murder happened. If any of the homes there are occupied, it would seem like someone might have been out working in their yard or getting in or out of their car. I haven't driven out there so maybe it is in a sub-division with nothing else anywhere around it. Of course, if it was another employee of D. R. Horton and someone that was around there a lot, they would probably not draw any suspiscion.
I hope this doesn't go down as another unsolved murder in McKinney.
