Wouldn't you think that if the ex-husband had cuts and they have blood from another individual, that would be enough to get a warrant for the ex's blood to see if there is a match?

Somehow I think that Sara would not wear a fake Rolex, like I might do. :blushing:
Yes, I do, which is why I think lack of cuts (if that is the case) is partially what may have cleared him and others at this point.
a LOT of people wear the fake ones. Especially those that are into labels and status. It wouldn't surprise me in the least were it fake.Just curious.

No Floh, I was just reacting to JBeans statement about maybe a lack of cuts have cleared him, so I was wondering if he has been cleared. Sorry honey LOL I should have addressed that to her.

Good points. J. Bean and Scandi about the cuts removing people from the suspect list. I think an article said police found a receipt for the Rolex. I hadn't thought about it being fake, but if so, it's possible police are keeping it quiet to ferret out informaition from the public? Starting to worry a little that LE might not be able to bring this one to closure. If not, it's surely not a lack of tremendous effort but instead bad luck.

Hi Deannegold,

It has only been two weeks, right? I seem to think that unless they release some info which they want out there for some specific reason, we won't know much about where they are in the investigation. Frankly, I don't think her circle of acquaintances can be that big that they can't follow up with all of them. And if they are suspecting some one in particular, that is the last thing we are going to hear about until all their ducks are in a row!

well i asked about the Rolex because they cost thousands of dollars. While the article says no one knew that she had it,(except the ex-dh) that is not true. Whoever she bought it from knew she had it.

This is probably neither here nor there, but a beautiful single lady purchasing an extremely expensive watch might catch my attention if i were a bad guy. But I seem to think the police think the watch was stolen to throw off the investigation, so I am really just thinking out loud.

If the ex-husband is guilty and was trying to establish an alibi, he just might have mentioned the Rolex during his TV inteview knowing it wouldn't be found on her body. Perhaps she owed him money from the divorce or for child support which she hadn't paid and he became furious over her buying such a frivilous gift for herself.

Another thought that crossed my mind..........the way she apparently blew through money, could she have had a big drug or gambling problem and owed a large sum of money to someone and they came to collect?

I'm surprised, also, that they didn't have surveillance cameras in that model home. It seems so bizarre to me that no one saw anything on that Saturday at the time the murder happened. If any of the homes there are occupied, it would seem like someone might have been out working in their yard or getting in or out of their car. I haven't driven out there so maybe it is in a sub-division with nothing else anywhere around it. Of course, if it was another employee of D. R. Horton and someone that was around there a lot, they would probably not draw any suspiscion.

I hope this doesn't go down as another unsolved murder in McKinney.

so they can DNA tests them..if they don't match then they're back to square one, unless one of them hired someone...
One suspicion I have heard is that she was into online dating, so it's possible she met someone online and that person killed her...:waitasec:

Don't they feel like this is a very personal sort of murder? Someone didn't just want her dead, this was way overkill.

Not only was she stabbed 27 times, but many of them were after she was dead. Yep that is overkill.

I don't know, but I just don't think that someone would kill her in such a vicious fashion for an expensive Rolex. I personally think that she would just hand it over to the robber.

I agree nan. Like I said, it's probably here nor there.
I guess shades of dyleski are always in the back of my head. You just never know who is out there.
If it is someone she knows, and if they have dna from blood..this should be solved right away.

That someone would have had to have been previously arrested for the types of crimes in which DNA is taken for his DNA to be on file.

Tate said during the interview w/Greta that when Sarah showed him the Rolex, the Saturday morning when he picked up their son, that the band was too big for her wrist...that it hung real loose on her, like it hadn't been fitted for her wrist, is the way i understood it....he even said that if they find the person w/the watch, they'll find Sarah's killer......

course he even said he wasn't sure of what all he could say about the investigation at that point, but he knew that night during the interview w/Greta that the watch wasn't on her body....he probably wasn't suppose to give out that info, but he did.....

i'll still be shocked if we find out that he's involved w/her murder....

I meant if they could collect DNA from people she knew, not necessarily people in the database.

that's exactly what i think happened, unless more info comes out, to the contrary...
