in OJ's case, IMO, that was jealous rage...if he couldn't have Nicole Brown, no one could....

OJ and Nicole didn't have a friendship after their divorce. He also used to tell her "if I can't have you no one will" which are words that a man means when he tells them to a wife or ex-wife. Every domestic homicide that I have ever known about or read about the husband...ex-husband...boyfriend...ex...has said these exact words to the female.

I would imagine LE will talk to friends of the ex and of Sarah to see what kind of relationship they had during their marriage and afterwards. They will check out his alibi word for word. They will either clear him or not. I also can't find a motive for him to murder her. I think there might have been someone who really wanted her and she wouldn't give him the time of day or maybe they dated for awhile and he thought they had something going but she didn't.

Thanks Scandi. Sorry I it took me so long to get back. My understanding is that the area of the struggle is hardwood. I'm told too that the flooring of the adjacent kitchen is granite- like tile. This is a very high stakes investigation so until and unless there's an arrest, don't count on anything being released. It simply won't happen. Dynamics behind the scenes have insured it. FYI: As for LE narrowing it down to six suspects, among them a woman, sources claiming inside information state LE claims no such statement was ever made. But, the possiblity of her killer being a woman is certainly up there. Again, this was a very personal attack.

i do not know how to post a link, but in today's dallas morning news, pg 2 the McKinney police have revealed a rolex ladies watch and a large ring were taken in the attack....probably to throw off investigators.

a bank video from earlier on the day she was murdered showed sarah wearing this jewlery yet neither has been found at her home or at the murder site. police have already checked area pawn shops hoping for leads.

they have found the box and receipt for the rolex which was purchased only the day before this crime, so no one really knew she had it (except i guess the EX who may have saw it when they exchanged their son).

the police are making this public at this time hoping someone may have recently gotten a nice "gift" and will let LE know.

Thank you, J. Bean. Izzy B, haven't read the article yet, thanks for pointing it out. As for the information "released," I believe the ex was quoted early on as saying she she showed (the Rolex) it to him that morning. I think it was made public too, her explanation for it. Could be wrong on the latter her friends were well aware of it. I don't understand why LE would say they hope someone would come forward with information regarding it. It appears there's a plethora of people that have the answer to LE's questions regarding the Rolex. Either LE didn't ask the right questions or "forgot" what they'd been told. If you go behind the scenes in some investigations--not the crime--but the investigation, you'll sometimes find things aren't what they seem. Why? Think of it this way: Investigators face tremendous pressure from within and an increasingly litigious society. Simply to "solve a crime" isn't so simple anymore. Add to that, the added pressure when city government is structured so that LE answers to the mayor, city manager and city council . To my knowledge, there's no reason to believe that in the Walker case, city leaders are pulling (LE) strings. But still it might not hurt to consider that on occasion, LE is playing the public. Just a thought.

My thought is that this was not a robbery. Perhaps, the murderer ditched the Rolex and ring (throwing out of his car) and someone will find them or perhaps, the murderer still has possession of these items.

I wonder if the police privately have their suspicions about any one individual.

Izzy B. Just read the article you mentioned. Sorry, I didn't understand when I replied. Yes, it does make sense that LE might wonder if anyone has been surprised with a "gift" of a Rolex. Can't remember at the moment, but didn't LE say that maybe the killer took Walker's jewelry to make it look like a robbery? If so I would think LE would know too that since the watch contains samples of DNA, the killer would also have been smart enough not to give it to someone as a gift. Unrelated to the Rolex, a source supposedly very close to Walkers family particularly her father, claims LE told them they're "close to making an arrest." However, area journalists worry the father especially, is only being pacified as were the loved ones in the quadruple homicides. I don't know enough to have an opinion but I must believe LE is not only on top of things- but being open and honest with Walker's family. Praying for both LE and the Walker family.

well i figured i had not made myself clear, but knew once you read the article you would understand.

yes, LE did say they are thinking the killer took the jewelry only to make it look like a robbery, thus implying what we have believed, this was an intentional murder.

i tell you, with those 4 unsolved homicides i know the McKinney PD is hoping for a break in this case. i am sure they would hate to have 5 high-profile unsolved murders in this boom-berg (although 4 of those homicides occurred during the same event).

IMO, these are the two most significant statements in that Dallas Morning News article:

"No one knew she had it," Capt. Roland said. "We believe it was taken to throw investigators off the track of the real killer."

Capt. Roland misstates. Sarah's ex-husband, Randy Tate, knew of the watch and made a point of talking about it on Greta Van Susteren's show. I said before that I believe he is trying to throw the investigators off-track. This latest article bolsters my conviction. They are trying to smoke him out. Wait and see.

No Izzy B, you explained yourself just fine. I just didn't read it carefully. It's odd seeing an investigation from behind the scenes. Scout you could be right, maybe it is the husband. I'm still thinking otherwise. Thinking too, the information LE released wasn't really "information" at all, but instead a signal indicating they need additional evidence (such as the Rolex and ring) to confirm that which they already have. In the Walker case, there's more pressure than usual. Not because the crime was so horrific and not because of the unsolved quadruple homicides. Together that's enough pressure for any police department, but the one here was already under the gun due to a $27 million lawsuit for false arrest in which an innocent man was charged with capital murder. The story was unbelievvealbe tragic with the innocent man dying before the city finally settled. They just have to figure out whose blood it is. They can of course test those they suspect or match it in a database...but if it is someone unbeknownst to them that has never been arrested..they won't know who it is.

They have been so silent to this point that I can not imagine them releasing this info about a perp's blood spatter found unless they have a pretty darn good idea who the perp is. The less the perp knows that they know the better, right?

I wonder if any of Sara's friends knew of her boyfriends, dates or personal life. Hopefully, she shared the details of her life with someone who may be able to help police.

I am sure they checked him. But if that examination revealed anything, we do not know.Maybe that is what is clearing a lot of people? No cuts means they couldn't have done it?

Wouldn't you think that if the ex-husband had cuts and they have blood from another individual, that would be enough to get a warrant for the ex's blood to see if there is a match?

Somehow I think that Sara would not wear a fake Rolex, like I might do. :blushing:
