I still wonder if they drained those grease traps fully that were on the exterior near the kitchen door. Those manhole access covers would be very easy to open and discard items into. I'm sure it would be very difficult for a dog to get a scent through the grease as well as the difficulties it would present to forensics when collecting any evidence.

Anything is possible, but it is known that all the lights were off on the vehicle as it passed or stopped both of the cameras furthest back in the bottom picture I posted. That would get us the best chance at the rear plate and decal because in all other camera views of the rear plate the license plate light makes it a Quixotic quest to get anything useful from those views.

I don't know why they would make editorial content decisions like that - not including all cameras - if they were simply interested in getting information out that might lead to Missy's killer. Why make that effort? Just piece them together. How much longer could the video have been? Another 2 or 3 minutes?

I appreciate them putting the video out. At the same time I can't shake the idea that MPD has had a hand in this somehow. That is, they are fishing and the video is the bait or this is once again some message. I don't expect that there is anything in this video or the raw video or the footage we are missing that we could discover that MPD or their LE partners couldn't in terms of license plate, items that can be seen in the car, etc.

a Quixotic quest

Truly an infinitesimal lack of ability, to discern the certain, with the current data we have from SWFAs video that has been subsequently downloaded, painstakingly, frame by frame, and analyzed.

When asking oneself why the parking lot video was published, one must anticipate LEO involvement in guiding the released version. All of the important items about the car are missing, by example, we can't see inside of the vehicle well enough to know if more than one person is inside the Altima, much less read a licensed tag, nor determine the gender of the driver.

LE could have announced earlier that the car is in SWFAs parking lot for six minutes but didn't. They held onto that data.

I'm sure this is a question that will seem dumb after following this case for so dang long, but your post makes me wonder if there was a basement space to the church? Could the perp have disappeared into a basement and then out a door that was unseen by students as they arrived?

DeDee , can you give any input on the trail/road behind the church (east side )?
How deep is that creek, how wide, and in your opinion would that road have been too swampy to drive on that day?

I've always believed this to be a very personal, brutal murder by someone who literally hated MB. This person, IMO, wanted to destroy her. They were either angry that MB was obsessed with her looks and body and put her self-absorption over her husband and children or someone wanted to inflict the most damage to areas that she used to attract a lover. If the murderer had used the tool to remove a bullet, why two different areas of concentration?

That remains a mystery. However, a supposition could be that the SP wanted this particular person dead and out of their way, hence they carried a weapon with ammo, to hit, first and hard, with deadly intent. This causes a closed casket funeral. The chest puncture wounds were aimed to point out motive. This is a coldblooded SP.

JHMO and all that jazz

Was she obsessed with her looks and body, and self absorbed? Personally, I do not agree with that assessment... I believe she found a passion for health and fitness and wanted to help others achieve their goals. I think her husband did not share her passion, which may have caused some conflict in the marriage.

Lol NG has from the very beginning getting information from WS. Even reading FB Affidavit that Cannonball got with FOIA in the podcast lol

And your map of the church. And, and, and.....the list goes on.

Where Chris Kyle Memorial Highway intersects with North Prong Creek, the creek is quite wide. It narrows behind the Church and is probably as deep as 15' in areas where I photographed. In those areas the creek was not dry so possibly a couple of feet deep at all times in those areas. Where NPC flows under FR1387 the creek is wide again and quite deep.

Many of the NPC pics are still on my phone and not downloaded yet but I could do that later to give folks an idea of what the creek looked like after the deluge so your imagination could envision what the creek may have been like that day.

IMHO, crossing the creek to get to the bank on the other side filled with flowing water would be treacherous.

To you guys who know more about security cameras - the camera recording the Altima turning off the hwy seem to be recording all the time. But are all the cameras recording? Is it possible or probable that the other cameras are motion activated? Or triggered by the first camera? I saw somewhere that SWFA said they had other views of the Altima but they were grainy and not as useful. Also some cameras are black and white and some color it even seems some are indoors but viewing outdoors. It is normal for a building to have a variety of cameras, some that are always on and others that are triggered?

This is something I've wondered, if the church and\or SWFA had a mix of cameras--some motion-activated and some recording all the time. My guess is that the church cameras were all motion-activated because of the slim need to record continuously all night, but who knows. As a business needing high-powered security, SWFA, otoh, would probably have continuous feed cameras--they probably wouldn't want to depend on motion triggering a recording. (Okay, a pun or two . . . But I feel I should apologize to Missy, because there is nothing funny about her murder.))

We own storage unit businesses and our security cameras are continuous feed on a two-week loop.

jmo, as always

I remember seeing a photo early on of a car parked on the church lot that the Midlothian Police department posted on their website along with images of the perp in the church. I've been looking and can't seem to find the car picture anywhere but believe it is the same car we've been sleuthing. It is NOT the photo showing the round sticker on the back end of the car but rather a photo of a car parked in a lot and then pulling away. Now that all the video surveillance has been released from the gun shop, I'm interested in looking at the still shots that were captured at the church. Further, if the police had those pics so early on, they would also have still shots or video of the perp exiting the car and heading into the church as well. Anyone else remember seeing those photos early on?

YES. I wrote about the same post a couple months ago. It was very early on. It looked like it was from a camera inside the church. From memory the car was silver but you could only see a small part of it and it was a non-descript car. I know cars a bit but couldn't make out the make/model from the picture.
Nothing of the license plate at all.

IMO the bullet removal (if it happened) was to cover their tracks...and I believe they targeted the 2 areas that attracted extra attention. JMO

I found it! I saved the two photos on my old laptop! The attached photos were on the Midlothian police website along with photos of the perp very early in the investigation. Notice it doesn't appear to be raining! Did the perp visit the church on another day, when it wasn't raining and the police were able to grab these photos? I have not been able to find them online anywhere now but thankfully still had them on my old laptop. Is this the same car as the one shown on the surveillance video from the gun shop?

These are from the later robbery. My recollection. It was much closer and we could only see a part of the car.

Having personally seen the creek too, I fully agree with this assessment ("crossing the creek to get to the bank on the other side filled with flowing water would be treacherous"). The weather that night, with very heavy rain, would have certainly made this a creek with lots of flowing water, as rain water from the rains were draining into it from everywhere.

Off the current topic, why do you think her local MIL and FIL, MT PT were not on the target number SW? Seems that since investigation starts with those closest and goes out, but her FIL and MIL, RB VB, who were more distant were included. Also why do you think there was no SW for BB work computer or home?

No..it's not thrive..it is clothing

I thought she was doing some sort of jeans a few years back (I think it was a Miss Me knockoff)?

I don't know, because I've never done it...but, I would assume someone who hunts would know how to. That is all based on assumptions that there was even a gun used. I'm not stating anything as a fact it is strictly my opinion.

:dunno: but could be I think! - However, I don't know why the perp would this thing carry around for some time ...?

Yeah if I yanked it off the wall/ceiling, I would just throw it in the floor. The cams go back to a DVR which may or may not be off site or in the cloud. I wondered for awhile if that was what h/she was looking around to find.
