Honest question.. Could the Family sue the church because the cameras were not working outside. Just a random thought. Civil court I mean. I honestly dont know how something like this would work .. I am sure MB would have had to pay to use the facility

Idk. But I don't think that you can sue a non-profit church due to a camera malfunction. Jmo.

Now maybe a Walmart since it's a full bloom business and their cameras are expected to be functional for business purposes.

But a church isn't forced to have cameras. So if a camera goes on the fritz then that is that.

Jmo.

ARKANSASMIMI.....WOW, WOW, WOW! Why would retiree's need so many cell phone numbers? Loved the way you figured out who had the "extra phone lines." Does anybody know if you can "forward your phone calls from one cell phone to another??"
IE...If I was in Texas right now, could I use my California cell phone number to make it appear I am answering the phone in California, even though I am having the calls forwarded to another phone?? Does anyone know how that works with cell phone towers, or am I barking up the wrong cell phone tower theory? lol. Other than a "spousal alibi" how else could it be proved?

I have no idea if BB Step Mother is retired or not. Or what kind of work they did or do. Many reasons I guess people have 2 phones. (I have trouble keeping up with 1) But I know many people that have a work provided cell phone and a personal one. To be honest you can have a Cali number and live in XYZ State. Many people moving from another state, they just keep there number. So your neighbor may have a Maine or Cali number lol I used my phone in Texas to call home to AR... but the cell tower will pick up my AR # at the tower it pinged off of...

AND... Just the Pings... that is not really strong, they have to have more than just phone pings. Thats a starting point. Tower may route it to another tower. Saw that gone over in another case. But its a building block.

Here is the one that I came up with by looking at photos from within the church. I feel confident in it but its JMHO of course. I posted it on the Media Thread here http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...eline-*NO-DISCUSSION*&p=12537809#post12537809
Oh thank you again. I saved several of your productions along the way, but the last one failed. Now I can find it any time. Question - I thought the gun store camera would be aimed at the south and east parking lots, but is that wrong and it would aim more at the driveway to Creekside? LE made it sound like the supposed partial vehicle was way out in the North parking area - so the only camera that could pick that up would be from the hallway, facing all that way from the MB truck awning, through the building, out the doors to the end of the North parking lot? I have a feeling they have since figured it out and it wasn't a vehicle but something else/nothing (like a trash can or cement guard). JMO.

Now you made me LOL. I am going to commit MURDER and have blood on me, but I'm going to worry about getting a flat tire or into a fender bender, better take that phone with me for safety even though it will tie me to the crime by pinging a tower in the wee hours of the AM in a rural place with only 3 towers close by! Really. Well, some criminals are that dumb, I suppose, the Sievers murderers for instance. Luvya. ;)

Lol. Remember how Jimmy Rodgers was on probation and couldn't leave the state without approval from his probation officer.

But his excuse to his boss, was that he was going out of state to his brothers graduation from law school. Lol.

Plus. Once again you are Wright. Those idiots use the gps that they borrowed from a friend. And didn't even reimburse the friend when they knew they couldn't return the gps device back to him. Lol.

But in all honesty. Most folks feel naked without their cell phone on them.

So whether a firefighter or corrections officer or a hitman. Some may decide to bring their personal phone on the job. Even if they are suppose to leave the phones behind.

Do you have a link, that the outside cameras were not working? I don’t think I have seen any evidence to that effect yet.

AND, because of your hard work, when I rewatched the video of the suspect moving from the double Dutch doors to the auditorium doors.. that video part of much speculation about a helmet light or not flashing? I wondered if the auditorium doors have those inlaid vertical windows like so many other doors in the church. It would seem reasonable that people might need to peek in the door window during services but might not want to disturb everyone by opening the doors. Anyway, I think he had a small handheld flashlight with a pulse button in his left hand that he holds up, and the light hits the inlaid door window reflecting light back at his helmet and then on the closeby wall. And that actually makes sense that he is shining his flashlight through the inlaid glass window of the auditorium door to see in there where it is dark, like what is this room, what's in here? JMO. Optical illusions abound in these videos and photos. Thanks again for all you do.

I think the nypd stingrays phone track is for backlogging phone movement that has already happened.

I think it's more like a app that is used to do the hardcore pinging math about who was where and when and how many times did they circulate the crime scene area. Jmo.

Especially since the perp will not revisit the crime scene any longer since it's over and done with and business as usual while knowing the stingrays are coming.

So imo. The stingray will focus on suspects phone pings in the area before and after the crime.

Especially if the perp did some practice runs to see where the church's outside cameras were placed. Jmo.

Most of the people on the Warrant doesnt go to this church. So none of their phones besides Missy's should really be pinging at this church weeks or days prior. Jmo.

I don’t think that is correct. Cellphone towers only pick up the direction of the ping. Not the actual location of the cellphone. So anyone who drove on that highway would show up as a ping on that cell phone tower. It would not prove that they visited that church. Only that they were in the line of the church from the cellphone tower, or they drove by the church. Now if they happened to be doing that during the time of the murder, that would look suspicious.

VB posted publicly that they arrived in TX monday night.

IMHO, they had to have flown in from California then. I'm not sure where they were in Cali when they received word, but it takes close to 20 hours to drive non-stop from San Diego to Dallas.

Now as far as actually SUING the church. I only think it's possible if the church owners were actually involved.

But I'm sure that if the church has insurance then the insurance will give something to Missy's family as long as they were not involved.

Plus I think that a church that leases a spot to a business to use the facilities for business purposes for a tax write off sake: will have the person sign a contract that states we will not provide security nor anything else.

But you can use our facilities while supplying things that you need for yourself and your campers.

I will be surprised if perp brought own phone. Some people turn their phones off every night. So, this being early, perp could say their phone always off at that time(if it was planned out like I think it was IMO).

Agree. But the nypd stingrays that are being brought in will show the people at the church itself. The stingray mimics towers between towers. So the stingrays show a closer proximity to each tower. So if another tower is 10 miles away. Then maybe the stingrays have a better pin point. Between each tower or within each tower. Idk.

I really like grandmother Bevers who wrote those two letters. She is the real mom of Missy's husband and I read on here at WSleuths that grandpa is married to another now. I think that grandmother Bevers had a sharp head on her shoulders. If she were my mother, or my mother in law, doing what she's done by writing those two letters and getting them out into the news, I would be so grateful to her and I would be in tears reading each of the letters. Criticism of her never ever ever would enter my mind as a reaction to her two letters.

Respectfully, BBM, just to keep the Moms straight ;)

BB Mother (that wrote the 2 letters to the Murder) name is not Bevers. Her name is M. Tucker. (MB Mother in Law)
BB Step Mother is "Grandmother Bevers" her name is V Bevers. (MB Mother in Law, married to BB Father)

Excellent point. The prior ping factor may get them.

Agree. You may be right. But let's not forget. LE said the perps vehicle was on tape but they didn't feel comfortable about releasing the possible make and model.

So even if the perp left their phone at home.

Their vehicle was somewhat spotted in the far side corner of view during a detrimental time. Jmo

Do you have a link, that the outside cameras were not working? I don’t think I have seen any evidence to that effect yet.

Chief Smith and Captain of CID John Spann stated they were not... That evidence enough for me.

Investigators said they think the individual used a pry bar to smash out glass and open a side door at the church.

The building did not have an alarm, and the outside surveillance cameras were not working, police Capt. John Spann said.

2) and here is link to the Press Conf . I will use the link I posted to the Media Page so wont show up and take up space. Is listed also on the MPD FB page... http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...eline-*NO-DISCUSSION*&p=12514028#post12514028

I went to hit send last night on this update when (boom) the thread was closed for review. I ended up falling asleep so here is a delayed version:

Previously on TMBT (The Missy Bevers' Thread) we talked getaway plan, shirtgate, RB/BB alibi, what was that Saran Wrap, door bar, taser, candle stick, square flashlight in swatperp's hand? Do we know if that is a headlamp on the helmet? Was there a break in and why didn't they take anything? Members posted fantastic maps & street view shots of the area. Why is MT (BB bio mom NOT VB who is currently married to RB) writing those letters? Why did KS do that Dateline interview and who called BB from the scene before LE? Who called MT? Why did they say accident? Does CT have a limp from a broken foot years ago? Moms commit bad crimes too someone mentioned. Who is swatperp? Are they male or female?

If you're just joining us on this thread, see my recap above bc you won't find new material here. No new news today. Members are getting tired and taking breaks bc they feel 3 weeks is far too long for the alphabet soup to solve this case. We learned some Facebook sleuths (side eye) are SS our ideas and talking about them in their own group. Yeah, we're smart but give us the credit and join us here if ya don't mind. K, thx.

As for me, I've pretty much convicted 3 different people of being swatperp from my own sleuthing with some friends :) so really I hope LE and the Texas Rangers (not the baseball team) are close to putting the handcuffs on the real swatperp so I can see how close we got!

Group hug. <3 You guys are fantastic!! Hang in there, answers will come. These things take time in real life, it's just so much faster on TV, I know.

Okay, back to your regularly scheduled programming.

http://www.wfaa.com/news/crime/husband-of-woman-murdered-at-midlothian-church-speaks-out/143107339 "Apr 20, 2016 - "Missy" Bevers, a mother of three, was found dead at Creekside Church ... and the outside surveillance cameras were not working, police Capt...."

OK, thanks. But I wonder if that is an accurate quote. Because what I heard from the news conference, was only that the outside cameras did not activate. That seemed to stop well short of saying the cameras were not working.

Yeah. I really think they got a good enough look to track down that car if it was indeed a car. May not have been perps, or it may have been perp number 2 on lookout.
