Please correct me if I am wrong. I am sure I read somewhere that Missy was AMBUSHED! I also read somewhere that she put up a struggle. I was hoping she died instantly! <modsnip>

EXTERIOR is outside. She was found inside. JMO

I'm not sure about legally speaking, which how things are legally aren't necessarily the same as what people would consider to be. As a commercial building, I don't know if that's considered part of the interior. What I'm finding is for commercial buildings is that if it's covered, it's included:
https://nces.ed.gov/pubs2006/ficm/content.asp?ContentType=Section&chapter=3&section=2&subsection=1
What I have hard time getting around is that this was neither caught on camera nor was the perp seen again. I'm trying to figure out how that could be done and one way I see doing that is if LE is being hyper-technical on what they're calling the interior of a commercial building, which covered commercial space in TX may be considered part of the structure and hence technically the interior. It makes things much easier logistically for the perp to already be outside.

Now if they are in a room in the inside SW corner, they could go through a window to the outside, but that too would contradict LE that the perp left the way that they came. Other than that, the room the perp happened to be in is the room that controlled the cameras so the perp disabled one or more interior cameras around the time they killed Missy as they would have had to have disabled at least one hallway camera prior to leaving a room in order to not be seen going out the broken door/broken window that were in other parts of the building requiring being in a hallway to get there. Along with this I don't rule it out that the perp did disable one or more interior cameras (and maybe stole the camera controller) with the footage LE got actually being backup that was stored on the cloud.

Thank you for the clarification on SP's entry point.

Let please stay on topic. The thread is for Missy.

Thanks!

Per this picture the parking lot had lighting! I had not noticed that before. So LE impersonator walked from their vehicle to the door where they broke in across a lit parking lot. I know that is on the backside of the church and hidden from the highway, but that is BOLD! If Missy was targeted this is really one bold and determined killer.

There are lights but that side of the building doesnt have as much as the other areas do. Here is a snip I posted showing how dark it is from Today Show... http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...eline-*NO-DISCUSSION*&p=12566598#post12566598

JMHO I dont think if you drove into the parking lot that time of morning, raining and dark... unless you were looking for a veh I doubt would have seen one parked there JMHO. http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...eline-*NO-DISCUSSION*&p=12540805#post12540805

Without naming them, does anyone here have a particular person in mind? JMO

Yes I do and no I won't say who. This person is someone near and dear to BB and the idea came to me when I was reading and catching up. My thoughts would not be popular here or anywhere else at the time. I sure hope I am wrong.
Not sure of a motive for it though.. haven't figured that part out.

Still, if I was going to do this I would be on edge and nervous walking from a vehicle in a parking lot with lighting. I'd prefer a dark parking lot even it is hidden from the road, knowing what I am about to do. Assuming this was premeditated.

It just seems to me that is one more factor that this individual was bold and confident. And if the hammer was the murder weapon, that requires them to close within arms reach of the victim - again, confidence.

Zoe (I think is who posted)--- thanks for that timeline link with all of the sources linked! It is super awesome!

Question- I am sure y'all discussed it, but I missed some while I was out of town. I know BB was reportedly in Biloxi. Was the flight actually into Biloxi/ Gulfport? That is not an airport many people even know about, and I am sure there are very few flights. Most people fly into/ out of New Orleans and then drive the hour and a half to Biloxi. Just curious if that was discussed. Thanks in advance!

Oh- one more question after looking at that timeline--- has there been any clarification why the familiy initially thought she was in a car accident? Thanks, part 2! :)

I noticed that too. Odd to reference a "past 10 months" period of time.

Maybe 10 mos ago was their anniversary where they pledged a sort of renewal/commitment to their marriage? Like, one last effort to go from anniversary (June or July 2015) to the upcoming anniversary in 2016 to see if they could work it out?

Maybe it was obvious it wasn't working?

I don't know....just speculating & moo

Mimi sketched out a brief timeline from Missy's FB in Thread #21, Post #745 that I believe may give some insight into BB's 10-month reference.

Also, 10 months prior... June 1, 2015 is when MB had her hysterectomy... for what its worth.

IMO, a major surgery like a hysterectomy, especially for a woman who (I assume) wasn't yet in menopause, may have triggered some soul-searching, life assessment, whatever you want to call it. Maybe going through that gave Missy a new appreciation for her husband, hence the daily "I love you" texts.

Male. I've written 4 other descriptive or 'profiling' posts, 3 of which remain, if you're still curious:

Interesting theory, thanks for sharing. So, to clarify, you have a specific male person in mind or you have a profile of a male person but nobody specific in mind?

This question has been asked numerous times, although it's not been addressed by anyone "official," here's my theory.

I think the people who first found Missy didn't initially realize what had happened to her. Just that she was either unresponsive or possibly dead and didn't know why (I mean, who walks into a church at 5am, finds an unresponsive person and assumes it was murder, ya know??). So, I believe when they called him they said "there's been an accident" but the murder part wasn't apparent or known at that time. Then, in contacting his sister, he assumed "accident" to mean "car accident", or his sister assumed car accident. And, there goes the telephone game ....

Thanks for asking, finine. I have a specific male person in mind who fits the Swatperp profile better every day. I am also leaning more strongly towards his having an accomplice (though not inside the church), with a possibly more complex motive to this crime.

Was it elective?

JMHO, since they roped off the doors and were seen going inside, I am going to assume that INTERIOR truly means inside the building. JMHO, if she had been in that Patio area/awning covered area then the Crime scene crew would have been out there working

Didnt say. She wrote it in the comments.

Just wondering. The emotions around the surgery could vary wildly depending on why it was performed. For some women it's not a big deal, and some women love being able to skip menopause. For other women there are a million feelings attached to it.

That's probably the most likely explanation, but it creates problems with the perp not being seen on video again. Either LE is mistaken that the perp left the same way they came in with the perp leaving through an undamaged window in the SW corner or the perp disabled hallway cameras from the room they were in around the time they killed Missy. If the cameras were working and they were going back the way they came, they should have either been seen in the hallway camera that captured Missy entering or they should have been seen in one of the cameras seen in the released video.
