K. Cozine has a FB that is not private, although his wife's is. It's obvious he has an interest in fitness from looking at his FB, so I wouldn't be surprised if he was a CG. No specific references on his FB to CG but lots of fitness references in general. And he has some kids roughly the same age as the Bevers kids so I don't know if the kids were friends or not.

It could be something as simple as a group text message that was on MB's phone from that weekend to/from her CG campers, and LE would have done an initial SW for all the people who were most recently in touch with her electronically.

I remember reading that KC is a part-time trainer at another gym in town and that his daughter is close friends with the Bevers' oldest daughter. I don't have links - sorry.

Like a needle in a haystack. Heck, the tower dumps alone would be how many phones to begin with? They asked for dumps from all the towers within 5 miles from the church and since each tower generally has the best service within 6 miles of it. That would be all of the phones that are powered on (they don't have to have made a call only ping which they do about once a minute) within a 22 mile wide circle (maximum) with the church in the middle of that circle. Given the population of northern Ellis county that could be as much as 50,000 to 100,000 phones in that circle.

But then wouldn't they have a way to filter down to just the phones that were actively being used? I know next to nothing technically about the interaction between a cell phone and cell tower, but I would hope that there would be telltale signs embedded in the signal to differentiate a phone in use (and perhaps moving rather than stationary) from a phone that is simply "on". When you think about it, at 4:30 in the morning there would have been very few phones in the area that were actively being used.

I read your posts where you work backward from your theory of where the perp entered, to how they could have avoided being on camera, to the idea that maybe LE doesn't really have additional video of the perp. If I have mischaracterized what you said, I apologize and please correct me.

But to me, it seems like you're really trying to make that square peg (SP entering somewhere other than the kitchen) fit in a round hole (all the evidence pointing to the kitchen being the actual entry point). And when your theory becomes problematic because of how unlikely it would be to avoid the cameras, you try to take the cameras out of the equation by saying they didn't pick up anything.

LE said on day 1 quite specifically that they DO have additional video of the suspect. In order for your theory to fit, they straight up lied to the public. I know they're not above lying for strategic value. But what is the strategic value in that particular lie?

I remember the first whole day or two was focused on the perp's gait. Now we've got a long list of experiences and conditions that we believe cause that walking pattern. If it wasn't partially or wholly faked. And now no one has mentioned any gait in a month or two.

Hindsight is 20/20. But I think we should have been gathering all MB'scommunications, interviewing and verifying any possibilities and delving deeperinto anyone involved going where the evidence led.

I get the sense the case required a lot of poring through monotonous docs. I wonder if they could somehow certify some Web Sleuths that would be willing to donate a night or weekend day to do some of the looking in the haystack for the needle (I don't do well when I'm just watching and not trying to fix it).

Like to hear from any LE out there that might have suggestions on what would have been a more fruitful approach.

And having an inch or two height range would have significantly sped up the elimination process.

I wonder in between the classrooms are there folding doors so that they can make 2 rooms one or if there is another door in between two rooms. Yes I know it won't solve who SP is but it might be a way he could get around without being seen on camera. Kitchen might have a small office inside with a door leading into the hall.

Also - I wonder if LE took pics or video of everyone around the scene or looked at video footage of anyone hanging around after
LE was on site. Maybe from SWFA cameras, Whataburger or Mo & Harry's.

Would like to to know if they saw anyone wearing thin leggings or pantyhose.

Also did anyone show up to ATs class a little early or a little late that day? From what I understand it was right down the street.

Of course they are. They have more data and other information than they did prior. Whether it is eliminating or moving that bit of info/evidence to another theory or whatever. It is a process. They just recently received back the ATT Cell Tower dump (well around beginning of month when they released the sealed FB SW stuff) Also we have no idea what all the info they have been going through. JMHO and this is not the only case being worked, but it def is being worked. It not like a 1 hr crime show with commercials ... I have faith :waiting: Murder has no statute of limitations. Time just gives the suspect false sense of getting away with it.

On the SW it says "the murder of Terri "Missy" Leann Bevers between the hours of 3am-5am on April 18th. Are these approx hours since LE noted SP first seen IN the building at 3:50am or do you think they may have picked up car lights entering the parking lot from either SWFA cameras or from a camera inside CoC being activated?

JMHO, that gives them time prior to the first seen on video of about "ten til 4" because it took time to get into the building and so forth. They stated didnt know how long in building prior. So 3 would be good because of the tracking of any electronic data. 5 would be game end time because that when first 2 911 calls made. Technically, the suspect had until MB was found to leave. Literally could have been going out door as others coming in. MPD have video of campers movements upon arrival into building. JMHO They also have the time frame Suspect last seen on video. We do not have those time frames as close as they do. But the 3-5 gives us that much.

I don't think LE knows exactly how many minutes, nor is saying they know.

"A few minutes" is a vague indication of time. My take is that they simply ascertained some indication of activity there, which means some time had to be involved as well. Maybe they know it because there was a mess or paper towels on the floor where the perp dried off or wet spots on the floor or who knows what. And they may be able to define it somewhat if they see perp coming or going here or there on cam at certain specific times.

I've forgotten where the unknown car was parking exactly. If they "saw" this car maybe they "saw" also some light shining through kitchen windows for a certain time? So they would know how much time the SP spent in the kitchen before entering the hallways (and camera)?

I disagree with you on this one. The SW requested historical data on the Target Phone #s from March 1 to April 24. This was after they extracted info from MB'S and BB phones and MB'S I pad. There was a reason they wanted historical data dating back to March 1 from ALL the Target #s. Something piqued MPD'S interest.

JMHO, If the murder was Targeted as they suspected that time frame would give them month and half prior (they have reason for that time frame maybe something from interviews, or from info extracted from MB iPhone, iPad so forth) the time frame ends day after MB funeral. (prior, during and after the murder/funeral)

:thinking: Makes you wonder how many people phones have been downloaded from the stingray, that have visited /drove by the church to get a look. LEO looking for a murderer, so they looking at any and everyone. Something to think about.

I agree. There has to be more to it. Did something go wrong? Did they INTEND to exit differently? Or is that really evidence of TWO people breaking in in TWO different spots? Something is odd here. Yep saw that. Been like forever ago now. And on the reward, JMHO but I would think the 6 month would start date offered. Then there is the SWFA and I had read that there is also CrimeStopper $ in addition to. I not sure how long those other 2 last.

I'm at least 50/50 on an accomplice. That ratio keeps coming up unfortunately.
I hope they took their cell phone along. But with their careful planning. And no arrest thus far. I'm starting to think I may not be so lucky.
Do appreciate those versed in the legal side translating the practical meaning of some of these procedures.

With all the tactical gear, if they were going to communicate, wouldn't they use something other than a phone? What do LE use in the heat of gunfire? Not my realm but I'm guessing, not phones.
