Other than the clothing, is there something else that points to LE to you?
Well, it's hard to tell from the grainy footage, but I don't see how the perp could be holding a flashlight, a hammer, and a box of saran wrap all at the same time. I feel like I can see the outline of a headlamp in the first shot 1:46. I thought it was a reflection at first, but in the next sequence you can see the circle of light cast by the headlamp very clearly. And in that shot, the perp is holding the mysterious box (referred to as saran wrap by many posters here), and their trusty little hammer, so no hands left for a mag light.
How would a headlamp be switched on and off then? He/she had a crowbar in one hand and a flashlight in the other?

You would reach up with a free finger and press the button. It is very easy. I use headlamps all the time when we go camping.
When threads move really fast, I read every other page. With all the quoted posts, you won't miss anything important.<modsnip>
WSl- Do any of you realize that this thread is expanding at the speed of light? I'd appreciate it if anyone would post tips on how best to keep up: What I'm doing now is I read the most recent page and POOF when I'm done there's at least 1 or 2 new pages !! I am clueless how to keep up. I use a computer not a fone - computer with keyboard & my hunch is that makes some diff' - tyia !!
I don't think that happened here.
You know, now I can't even remember why we are pursuing this avenue?

Here is my list:
1. Clothing.
2. Tactical Entry Equipment (the tools used to pry open doors and such).
3. Even though the person is right-handed (see use of hammer), opens doors and uses flashlight with LEFT hand, which would be standard LE training procedure so you keep your dominant hand free in case you need to draw your service weapon.
4. The way they hold the flashlight up to eye level instead of extending it out. (think HGN test, when the officer flashes the light in a DWI suspect's eyes)
5. The way the perp seems to slightly crouch and peer around corners, opens all unlocked doors as though a security check.
6. Methodical way of checking the building---first checks all exterior rooms clockwise and then interior rooms clockwise.
7. Perp reaches for something near his/her throat (in front of bulletin board) that appears to be keying a microphone.
About the burglary theory of someone looking for the donations from Sunday's service. For anyone outside the churches of Christ, they probably don't know this, but with this particular denomination, Sunday collections are often not as great as you'd see in another denomination that practices tithing. In the churches of Christ, they don't believe they're held to the practice of tithing and only give what they've "purposed in their own hearts" which is often less than a traditional tithe. I was a member of the church of Christ for decades, and always heard that we didn't draw in as much money on Sundays as other denominations because of our no-tithing beliefs.
