Actually they have the story wrong. Parker pulled out nails and comforted and a second homeless covered and picked up the leg less girl and held an elderly woman as she died

We are managing Zen by wrapping a blanket of love around our community, we are doing everything we can do to help in this massive time of need. My son's friend was a victim, so my family has been personally affected. We live only a few miles from the arena and I have never witnessed anything like it. The love, the care, the selfless acts that people are making is absolutely amazing and the outpouring of love from the rest of the world is so heart warming, it's a time when no matter where you are in the world, you're affected. We felt the heartbreak when other countries were attacked and our hearts were heavy for you in whatever country you call home.

There has been a lot of activity in Manchester today and my daughter was in a building in the city centre next to where a raid has just taken place. It is far from over for any of us but just know whoever and wherever is next, we will stand beside you, as you and the rest of the world has done for us.

Dear Fairyland,

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your message. We all stand with your community and feel your devastation. We share the sorrow in your community. I personally still feel shock from it. We feel tremendous heartbreak at what happened and we offer our love and compassion.

I was in tears when I read about all of the wonderful people who led with their hearts and offered support immediately.

All of the people who rushed to aid others followed our natural instinct of humanity which is great compassion for others and the impulse to help others in need. The overwhelming rush to help was so heartwarming and beautiful. It lifted my heart and those of others as well.

I have been learning of the great compassion, strength and unity that comes naturally to Manchester citizens. Your messages have taught me so much. You belong to a strong and loving community.

The articles advising that free counselling is being offered have been wonderful to read. So crucial at this time.

We are all heartbroken with all of this and send our messages of strength, love and comfort to you all.

I had to go away for a while I'm so sorry to see the news updates. I read that one of the latest victims named is Nell Jones, aged only 14, who walked with crutches like me. I'm so angry about what this piece of work has done I sincerely hope hell exists.

Many thanks everyone for your news updates and posts they are all much appreciated.

I am seeing unconfirmed reports that the UK General election scheduled for June 8, may be postponed. I hope so. It needs to be held at a time when things are more normalized.

Agreed. Its the right thing to do.

He would be one of very few to be surprised it wouldn't happen so close to his home in UK.

This is definitely the norm for the UK & Europe now, this will be day to day life for people living in Europe.

I obviously don't speak for the rest of Europe, but I don't think it's the norm. It's horrific watching reports of this and the other recent events, and I'm not just trotting out the "keep calm and carry on" line - I was terrified as a kid when I saw new reports about attacks by the IRA etc, but whipping people into a frenzy doesnt help anyone, it just makes them stronger and us weaker mentally.

It hasn't been decided yet, however, the UKIP says they'll start campaigning again tomorrow.

Ukip has become the first party to announce it will resume election campaigning, with its leader, Paul Nuttall, announcing the party would launch its manifesto on Thursday morning.

It remained unclear whether the other parties would also resume campaigning, which was suspended after 22 people were killed in the Manchester bomb attack.

The other main parties were still discussing when to resume election efforts. The Conservatives have stopped all local and national campaigning for now. Labour has halted all central efforts, but some leafleting has taken place, at the discretion of local parties.

Thanks for the clarification!
Yesterday rough sleeper Stephen Jones revealed how he pulled nails out of a little girl's face after terrorist Salman Abedi killed 22 people and injured 119 when he detonated a nail bomb at the end of an Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena.

Mr Jones, who had been sleeping nearby, recalled watching in horror as children covered in blood began pouring out of the arena, leaving behind 'lifeless' bodies surrounded by 'hysterical' mother.
Another homeless man, Chris Parker, was begging in the stadium foyer when he heard the explosion. He described in graphic detail cradling a young girl who had been separated from her parents and lost both her legs in the blast.

Now West Ham's co-chairman David Sullivan and his son Dave Jnr have revealed they want to help reward Mr Jones, 35, for his selfless actions - while Mr Parker's estranged mother has come forward to say she wants to be reunited with her hero

I agree. It's not the norm. These events are still rare and shocking. They aren't an every day thing!
I remember the IRA too and I still went into London when they were doing their bombing campaigns. You do just have to carry on. These people won't win.

As I sit here and think about all of the horrific carnage, and barbaric murders and serious injuries Isis, and other radical extremists have done.... my heart breaks for all of the victims worldwide. Those who have had their lives taken away or forever changed by severe injuries in so many parts of the world including our own.

I was reading this morning about how Islamic extremists in our country have been targeting others to murder or severely injure since the 60s or 70s. Many on the list I never even heard about, and several were done by those belonging to the Nation of Islam back then. Of course in the recent years we have seen the extremists supporting Isis or were/are Isis sympathizers or sympathizers of another terrorist group.

While we have mass murders happening by American born citizens very rarely do they do it in the name of their religion. Many of them had no religious ties at all. Of course like in every country the citizens of each country carries out the most crimes which makes logical sense since they are the majority of the population in each country.

What is different about these radical extremists is the way they relish in carrying out their mass murders. They prefer the most heinous manners of death to innocent others whether it is done to innocent Muslims, Christians or innocent people from a civilized free society. They drown, they burn their victims alive, they use suicide bombers causing the most horrific damage possible by tearing their victims apart. It is all so barbaric and even those who may live through their attack will always carry the horrific scars reminding them daily that the terrorists left their mark on them forever...both physically and mentally. I am afraid we are going to hear that many of the Manchester victims may lose limbs. :(

Isis and other terrorists like them are the worst mass murderers the world has ever known in the 21st century.

We can never accept this as being normal. Never. I am thankful that many extremists in our country has been stopped from carrying out their plot to destroy us in mass. I am also thankful the FBI takes radical extremists very seriously and has over 1000 open cases in all 50 states. It shows they are here and they are plotting and hopefully they will be stopped before they act.

I have no doubt the fine investigators in the UK have also stopped many fanatical extremists from carrying out their diabolical plans to murder in mass. Those extremists were stopped but it wasn't because they didn't plot and plan to commit mass murder. They were stopped because of law enforcement investigators in various countries thank goodness and prevented another mass tragedy from happening like it has happened in Manchester.

I know this may not be a popular opinion but imo, anyone who is an average citizen from any country that goes to a terrorist country should not be allowed to return to their country when law enforcement has them already on their radar as being possible terrorists or has terrorists ties. We already know once Libya fell radical extremists took over just like they did in Iraq and they are in over 30 countries now spreading like a cancer committing heinous barbaric murders each and every day.

They are the worst barbaric mass murderers in the 21st century along with other radical extremists who are as depraved as Isis is. Those who say they do all of this madness in a name of religion they hide behind to deceive. They are not religious. IMO. They are a cult group filled with nothing more than depraved sadists, and sociopaths who takes great pleasure in destroying others in the most inhumane ways possible. Imo.

My heart breaks for all of the Muslims, Christians, and all of the other innocent victims all over the world who have lost their lives or were seriously injured by the most evil among us. Everyone must come together to eradicate these evildoers who are obsessed in carrying out the most barbaric ways to commit murders including mass casualties as possible.

We must fight them as the cancerous sub-humans they are.

Prayers for all in Manchester!

I hope that all are getting the care they need for all their physical and psychological needs. I hope those two homeless fellows are being checked on. I hope that the one is reunited with his Mum. He does need her more than ever right now.
