I have been disgusted by the fact that everything we have shared in good faith with the US authorities is being leaked to the press.

If US posters on here want to do something to help, I suggest that you contact your political representatives and tell them to use their influence to stop this happening.

I am truly appalled by the behaviour of our so-called ally.

Okay I am not surprised that the suicide bomber was known to LE. It seems like we hear this so many times. Something needs to change as far as when LE/FBI can step in after finding out someone is radicalized.

My sister was being harassed by a radical Islamist on Facebook because she is in charge of a church outreach that is not Muslim. She had no idea who he was. Somehow she ended up on his radar. He left her audio messages through Facebook,and one of them he hadn't known was being recorded. He was talking to another man about her. He said he was coming to her house.

We checked out his Facebook and through research found out he had two profiles. An American one, and the other one was in Arabic. He was from Pakistan and Iraq. Very disturbing photos of children holding machine guns and The Boston marathon bombing. He was making it look like a joke. It freaked her out. It freaked my whole family out.

She contacted the FBI and after they looked into him they told her they had already known about him. They were aware of his activities and put him on the "no fly list." She had to cancel all her social media and they told her to buy a gun. There wasn't much else they could do. The terrorists pretty much have to commit the crime before they can arrest them. Unless citizens report everything they find suspicious, I don't know how they can be stopped. It's very frustrating.

When a French journalist posed online as a young woman interested in Isis, she was soon contacted by a fighter in Syria. He proposed marriage – but could she maintain a double life?

I had spent that night on my couch, flicking from account to account, when I came across a video of a French jihadi who looked about 35. He wore military fatigues and called himself Abu Bilel. He claimed to be in Syria.

I would later learn that he had spent the past 15 years waging jihad all over the world. But for the moment, I knew nothing of the bellicose man on my screen, proudly unveiling the contents of his SUV glove box: a thick stack of Syrian pounds, candy, a knife. He removed his reflective Ray-Bans, revealing darkly lined, black eyes. I knew that Afghan soldiers wore kohl around their eyes. Still, seeing a terrorist with eyes made up like my own was surprising. He was good-looking. He spoke perfect French, with what to me sounded like a very slight Algerian accent. He smiled broadly as he beckoned viewers and called for*hijrah: leaving a land of unbelievers to join an Islamist country.

The father of the attacker who killed 22 people in a suicide bombing in Manchester has been arrested in the Libyan capital Tripoli, according to a counter-terrorism force spokesman and a witness.

The counter-terrorism force detained Ramadan Abedi outside his home in the Tripoli suburb of Ayn Zara on Wednesday afternoon. An eyewitness said he was handcuffed by armed men who drove him away in two unmarked vehicles.

In Libya, the bomber's father, Ramadan, and younger brother, Hashem, have been arrested, Reuters is reporting.

Hashem, 20, was reportedly arrested in the capital Tripoli on suspicion of links with so-called Islamic State, according to Reuters.
Older brother, Ismael, was detained in Chorlton, south Manchester, on Tuesday.
Their father was in Tripoli when he was arrested, Reuters has told the BBC.

I don't know, but I've been thinking about this and I'm surprised he didn't wait until the Take That gig. As someone mentioned pages ago, is the 22nd significant?

a) Ariana Grande is more internationally high-profile.

b) Ariana Grande attracted a very young audience and killing children will be extra shocking to the public.

And possibly -

c) They think that female popstars are immodest and that they encourage other girls to be immodest too.

d) Ariana Grande's gig fell on the anniversary of Lee Rigby's death.

You are not alone. I have been appalled by the behavior of our MSM too.

I am ashamed of their behavior, and I am so sorry they have leaked the evidence that should have remained private, but, sadly, I am not at all shocked they did so.
