Why is the prosecution not probing and digging into his numerous lies here

I know. I was hoping he would ask how he got home after the sea stole his joggers and boxers but it doesn't look like he did.

He probably had a wee case packed with his swimwear and a towel etc maybe even a packed lunch. ... Well in his version of events

They could be. I'm sure there's a lot that isn't being tweeted. We're only really getting a flavour of the questions.

Fibres on Alesha’s clothes 'linked to jogging bottoms'

A forensic scientist is now giving evidence at the High Court.

Sarah Jones, who specialises in fibres and clothing, examined Alesha’s clothes, jurors are told.

She also looked at a hoodie and jogging bottoms found on Rothesay beach.

She says there was “strong evidence” to suggest some fibres on Alesha’s clothes were linked to the joggers.

It is the sixth day of proceedings in the trial, which is being heard before judge Lord Matthews.

Alesha MacPhail teen suspect's phone 'used to Google "How do police find DNA"'

Sorry took me ages to go back and find the quite about fibres on the joggers but needed to make sure I hadn't imagined it.
These would be the joggers found on the beach! The joggers that he claimed he 'lost' on the beach 2 days before Alesha went missing

'I have no experience in carrying people'

Asked if he was strong, the boy said: “I can bench press 50kg but I don’t think it’s that impressive.”

He is then asked if he could easily have carried Alesha, to which he answered “I have no experience carrying people.”

Boy accused of raping and murdering Alesha MacPhail takes stand

During cross examination the accused is asked if he is strong, he replied: "I can bench press 50kg but I don’t think it’s that impressive." He was then asked if he could easily have carried Alesha, he replied: "I have no idea, I have no experience of carrying children".

Aha, from STV news

Alesha: Murder accused googled 'how do police find DNA'

“The jury also heard a right palm print belonging to the teen was found on a chair rail at steps leading to the flat where Alesha was staying when she disappeared.”

So the print was definitely not inside the flat itself.

Fraser Knight‏ @Fraser_Knight

Toni McLachlan had “murder on her mind” the night she met the accused boy, he’s told the court. He agreed with the prosecution that would be “extraordinarily wicked” - just like making an allegation against someone who’s innocent, full of lies, would be, the prosecution says.

The accused says he thinks Toni-Louise McLachlan had "planned the murder" of Alesha as "it’s not something you do spontaneously". When asked why Toni would want to implicate him, he replied: "to get away with it".

BBM to add my comment - revealing his premeditation imo

The worst (for them) thing the defence Could have done is put him on the stand. He appears to be so arrogant he will trip himself up again and again.
