Not sure how that helps the defence case. Is someone who’s supposedly obsessed and prone to jealousy over their boyfriend, really likely to be having an affair with a schoolboy?

But did they ask anybody about this ? I don’t recall any direct questioning of any of their friends around this topic, which is a bit odd , but maybe it just wasn’t reported

His point is if what the accused said was true and they'd seen each other that night after the phone call then why would she phone him back the next day to see what he wanted.

I totally disagree. This is usually only said when someone has been ill and suffering not about a 6 year old child

I already said this upthread. I think compared to the suffering and terror that wee girl went through just prior to her death she's definitely in a better place now. Further to that i believe when someone is bereaved, i imagine that TM was to some extent, it's hard to say any words, she possibly didn't know what else to say. But thats my opinion and that's why we are all on this forum.

Yes but she has allegedly seen the missed call, messaged him on Instagram and then went and met him. She would know why he called her. She didn’t so she called him back.

Yes it was at 1.47am ( after he had called RM at 1.39am ) and he then went out of his house at 1.54am - allegedly to meet TM

I get you, but maybe she didnt initially notice the time of the call, and called him back, in a panic, thinking he had just called her and had news re Alesha. I see your point though and does make it more relevant for the Prosecution to include it.

Really? First I've heard that he told the police this story in the days after Alesha body was found? I thought the start of the trial was the first anyone heard of his version of events ?

But the accused did say “doesn’t matter” with crying laughing emojis. He seemed to know TonI was returning his missed call... if he didn’t reply with doesn’t matter I think it would of benefited his defence more
