I think if we haven’t heard anything by 4pm it will be tomorrow. I had a look on google and it says the court closes at 4:45pm today. I’ll be honest I thought we would have heard something by now.

Far as I know, the Jury send a message out to a clerk. Clerk then has to inform the Judge ( who may just be doing something else in the building ). Then all the other relevant people - family mainly - have to be found and notified. So it can take about half an hour or more until they are sure they have everyone notified.

What I am waffling on about - and trying to say is that they could have a verdict and but it won't come in for maybe another half hour or so. Or maybe I am just being too optimistic.
