By 'both sets of witnesses' i meant the neighbours and the girlfriend. Sorry, the girlfriend wasn't a witness but seems to be going against the grain post trial (which is interesting in of itself as you would think she knows him reasonably well).

Nice try, didn't work.

Eezer - when were RM and TM lying?

1. When they said that there is no violence in the relationship.
2. When they said they were at home that night and never went out.

Me too. Very brave to go against the grain in such a high profile case especially when you live on a small island. Likewise, the neighbours that spoke out about the misdirection of the court by RM and TM regarding their whereabouts and activities on that night. Hopefully both sets of witnesses will not receive any sort of backlash.

I agree but then again what do we know about the witness

Eye witness statements similar to things being said are not often credible

I just look at the solid stuff the dna the weapon from his house the strange movements caught on cctv of the accused

It’s just too strong against his weak defence and I can’t see this viable alternative you seem to believe

But everyone has different ideas concerning this case but for me this is on of the easier ones

Yes it was a couple of days before the murder iirc when he was diving in to the sea. I believe the courts were ordered to basically take that story as read.
Then has it been discussed as to what/why he seems to be carrying something (CCTV) when he left the house for the second time?

I'm the same, I'm just so fascinated by this case. A boy who had it all went out randomly one night and did something unspeakable. I'd love to read psychiatric reports on him. I think some more interesting details will emerge at sentencing.
Can someone not just put up a front to hide any underlying issues . It would be interesting to see how they test someone

Ok you are right I meant 2am! But the difference to me posting here and writing for a national newspaper is that there are layers of subeditors and editors above me that would correct such mistakes.

We don’t know the exact conversation between Toni and her aunt but my point was that what was reported is unlikely to be lax journalism. The reporter when faced with lawyers demanding clarification is likely to have gone back to AC’s mother to confirm that statement.

No personal offence intended to you but, I find that laughable!
Especially in the online news articles! Id need a new red pen every day to mark the spelling, grammatical errors, using wrong names and times and general typos if they were print versions!

Also when she was missing/dead he was caught on numerous times leaving the house and returning

I don’t see footage of anyone else found or produced and his clothes were found and his dna all over the poor girl

That’s just unlucky coincidences and did they put forward credible reasons to explain any of this?

Hey Everyone,

An excellent example of how rumor becomes fact is the "skinned cat" story.

Someone posted that man in question had skinned two cats. Then added didn't know if it was true or not.

Guess what many of you are posting now? About this guy "skinned two cats." Rumor turning into fact.

Please leave the cats out of the discussion unless you can find a mainstream media source of this story.

Thank you,
Tricia

Possible, i suppose.

I just look at the solid stuff the dna the weapon from his house the strange movements caught on cctv of the accused

There is no evidence the knife was even used but it could have been from his house. I don't find his movements strange when you consider his account. The DNA is accounted for by his special defence (although i completely get why this is seen as the nail in his coffin for sure).

I remember the well known kemper admitted telling them what they wanted to hear

And the best was the expert who put on the report he was no longer a danger to the public

Maybe if he looked in the boot and found a head he might of changed the report

Why would you feel less empathy for Rab?
He in NO way, by any action, invited Aaron to abduct, rape and kill his child.

I think I feel more empathy for him than her mum if anything. He will carry the added burden of it happening while she was in his care.
mrazda, I have previously responded to that question via another poster, so I will not repeat it at length. Suffice it to say that I do feel sorry for the father, he is quite obviously heartbroken at losing his beloved child. I have never said, at any time, that he is responsible for what happened. The essence of my previously response is that if I were dealing drugs there is no way that I would allow punters to come to my door when my child frequently stayed there, for a multitude of reasons. Not victim bashing, he does have my sympathy, but drugs and children do not mix.

We agree to disagree

Think the judge afterwards found the defence ridiculous

You mean the court instructed the jury to believe AC's account?

That patently isn't true.

Maybe I've misunderstood you.
