Thanks. It took a bit of scrolling to find her pic. Hardly enemy number one.
She's not the enemy in this at all, there are no enemies just a monster who has ruined the lives of two families.

I take it you meant a link to his mum's picture?
Yes thanks I did. Usually, stating a fact requires a link that's why I asked. I don't have a clue what she looks like.

Three families.

Why exactly is this woman being victimised in the community? I don't get it I admit. Links to explanations could help.

We have no idea

3 Families? There was a victim and a perpetrator who each have a family, by my count that is two families?
The family of the murderer is the third family IMO. There was the victim's father's family and the victim's mother's family and the murderer's family.

There aren't any explanations as to why, she's had her windows smashed because her son is a rapist and a murderer.
It's mindless vandalism because her son did what he did, i would have thought that was pretty obvious?

The family of the murderer is the third family IMO. There was the victim's father's family and the victim's mother's family and the murderer's family.
By that logic then there would be 4 families. The victim's mother's family, the victim's father's family, the murderer's mother's family and the murderer's father's family. Where does it stop? Are we including the murderer's father's mother's family too? Essentially there are 2 families involved, the victim's and the murderer's.

Because people are blaming her for her son's actions even though she called the police on him after watching the CCTV footage and hasn't spoken to or seen him in months. They want someone to be angry at and since they can't get to Aaron, I suppose they are taking it out on the person who is close by them. It's misplaced and they should be punished for it, especially considering there's also a teenage girl still living in that house as well.

When you mentioned two families lives ruined I thought you meant the victim's two families, as the parents are separated. And it doesn't stop really.

Yes. It's very misplaced and wrong of them. I'm sure if his dad stuck around he would have been victimised in some way but he never. He ran away when the going got tough and abandoned his family.

Well if it is obvious, why isn't the perps father being blamed as well?

ETA, ah I see he is no longer around to blame. Just hope it stops. The appeal is going to stir it all up again I guess.

Ok. We're off topic now and it's becoming antagonistic.

Because he packed up and left. Abandoned his wife and daughter.

Because he fled the island and his photograph hasn't been in the papers.

Thanks for your responses and patience with my questions. We all hope it stops anyway. It's like she is being punished for calling the police on him IMO and could actually need police protection. Whereas the father "stood by him" and then fled saving himself. Jmo.

Totally agree with you there. She is being punished and she brought her son to the attention of the police.
I wouldn't say protection as such but Police Scotland could at least be giving more input and support for her.
IMO his dad is a waste of space, for all we know he's happily getting on with his life while his wife and daughter have to face the people in the community every day. He made a choice and it was to save himself. Like a rat jumping from a sinking ship.

That's what I would like to know! He was there as part of the family, yes he was away for work but he was also home, socialising with his wife and friends, they were not a one parent family,I dont understand the logic of people blaming her but not him!
But he scarpered when the going got tough and left his wife and teenaged daughter to face the music, and no one seems to bear him any I'll will at all, even though he contributed 50% of the sadistic murdering rapists genetic makeup!!
The fact that he left makes him the much worse parent IMO
