BIBs Am just trying to work out where TM and RMcP's bedroom was, in relation to Alesha's.
I understood that Alesha had the attic/loft conversion on the top floor and that the other 2 bedrooms were at first floor level.
But TM saying she went to the toilet and then into Alesha's room, makes it sound as though her room was on the same upper level as Alesha's - she says she went through to Alesha's room, rather than went upstairs to.

Point I am getting to is - how close was RM/TMs room to Alesha's ?
If on the same level, then the accused would have to be extremely quiet to be able to take Alesha from her bed. Unless of course, that is just supposition by the Prosecution and Alesha was actually downstairs in the living room area.

Ms McLachlan denies having an argument with Alesha's dad

A defence witness claims to have seen Ms McLachlan having an argument with Mr Robert MacPhail in the street on the night Alesha went missing.

She says she didn’t go outside on the night in question and she and Robert hadn’t argued.

When asked if a neighbour could have seen them arguing on the street, she replied ‘no’.

Girlfriend of Alesha MacPhail's dad admits selling drugs to the accused

The girlfriend of Alesha MacPhail’s dad, Toni McLachlan, has admitted to selling drugs to the accused.

Alesha’s father Robert MacPhail told the court on Tuesday he sold cannabis to the 16-year-old.

Ms Toni McLachlan told the court she and Robert had also sold cannabis to the accused’s sister in the past.

She says she didn’t tell police about the drug dealing when Alesha died because she didn’t think it was relevant and she was “worried about what would happen”.

I am wondering whether it was 'just' cannabis. I am finding it difficult to see why someone would be so desperate for cannabis that they would 'break in' to a property (or at least enter without permission) - other drugs, yes, but not cannabis.
