It's unfathomable. At the start I thought he must have been involved with the murderer somehow, especially as they were tried together but no. I've not followed this trial very closely (most of the coverage I've seen has related to the murder itself) so correct me if I'm wrong but, did this guy, independent of anyone else just happen to find a 16 year old girl's dead body in a park (without anyone telling him it was there) and then decide to touch her (very) inappropriately and then hide her body again?!I keep banging on about it but Stephen corrigan and his actions disgust me. I just can't get my head around it
Yes that's exactly what he did! It's unfathomable. At the start I thought he must have been involved with the murderer somehow, especially as they were tried together but no. It's so sickening it's beyond belief!
It just feels like too much of a coincidence that he randomly“found” Amber, when he is already connected to them all? It's unfathomable. Learned behaviour perhaps?Court documents also show that Amber and Connor Gibson's biological father, Peter Gibson, sexually assaulted two young boys and assaulted and raped a woman.
These crimes were committed between 2001 and 2008. He was sentenced in April this year
The poor child. What a horror story that is to read.Court documents also show that Amber and Connor Gibson's biological father, Peter Gibson, sexually assaulted two young boys and assaulted and raped a woman.

This article states Corrigan was unknown to both of themIt just feels like too much of a coincidence that he randomly“found” Amber, when he is already connected to them all?
Does anyone know where I can read the court transcription?
Thank you. I must’ve mistakenly read that they were all Facebook friends. This article states Corrigan was unknown to both of them

Brother found guilty of Amber Gibson's murder
Connor Gibson has been convicted of sexually assaulting and killing his 16-year-old sister in 2021.www.bbc.co.uk
Stephen Corrigan - who was unknown to both Amber and Connor Gibson - found her body, but rather than alert police, he inappropriately touched her and then concealed her remains
I didn't see any transcripts/live reporting for this case
Yes, I imagine it was that they found DNA and had a match. It doesn't mention any past convictions for himI’m still so confused about how did they even figure out that there was another person involved.
If I recall correctly his defence said he wasn’t seen on cctv whereas Amber and Connor were. The cellphone data didn’t show him being there either. The brother has never admitted to anything so it’s not like he told them that her body had been moved or hidden. Is it just that they found dna other than Amber’s and Connor’s and they happened to have his on file?
I'm almost certain there was someone with the same name on the brother's friends list. However, it's not an unusual name.Thank you. I must’ve mistakenly read that they were all Facebook friends.
So tragic for Amber
