• Hunt launched for missing mum and young son as police 'increasingly concerned'
• Detectives are searching for a mum and her son who were reported missing a week ago.
  The mother, named only as Anxhelina, 32, and son Rojs, are missing from their home with Greater Manchester Police launching a search for them. The force, which has not disclosed Rojs' age, confirmed to The Mirror that the two are mother and child.
  The most recent sighting of the pair is not known, although a missing person's log was opened a week ago on September 19. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is urged to come forward.'

"In a post on the GMP Tameside Facebook page, officers said: "We are continuing to appeal for any information around missing Anxhelina (32) and Rojs (11) who have been missing from Hyde since Thursday 19 September 2024.

"We believe that they have links to the North East, London and Scotland. Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for their welfare."

Police Scotland also confirmed the pair have links to Edinburgh, as a force spokesperson added: “Anxhelina and Rojs have links to the Edinburgh area. Contact Police via 101 if you think you can help.”
