aren't those also used for fishing, etc?

Done a up to date map with all the relevan places. Googled car repair shope in the town and this was the only one.

The garage is where they located the vehicle, correct? There were tire tracks by the river, but the vehicle was not there. If he was walking back toward the garage from the river and was wearing waterproof leggings/pants, then he must have left the car at the garage and walked to the river for..... what? Obviously, to do something in the water. If he had already placed April's body in the river, that would explain the tire tracks. Maybe he went back to discard evidence like clothing, weapons, etc. Oh this is just heart breaking!!! I want her to be found safe somewhere, but I fear that it is gut-wrenchingly apparent that this is not going to end well. Her Mother's plea will haunt me forever.
What we dont know is when the landrover was put into the garage. If it was monday night or tuesday morning then he wouldnt be walking back to it as he was not arrested until tuesday afternoon.
How would he have gotten down to the river? Where was he living at the time? I haven't seen that clearly stated.
Looking at the map, which UK girl has kindly provided, it would seem that the road back from the river goes past the repair shop.
So could be he drove to the river, the place where they have found the tyre tracks, then drove back towards town, dropped the car at the repair shop, and then continued on foot for the rest of the short walk into the town itself

I am sure something was said ( will have to go back and re read ) to the effect that there are 2 vehicles being talked about.
Initial reports said that April got into a grey or light coloured van ...... and I have also read about a light coloured van being recovered on the road, close to a bridge ?
But the Land Rover belonging to MB was definately found in the car repair shop
The Land Rover Discovery was recovered from a repair garage in the Old Station Road area of Machynlleth on Tuesday afternoon
...
Mr Bridger was arrested at 15:30 BST while walking along the A487 main road north out of Machynlleth
If he was found North of the bridge walking back into town then thats walking towards the car repair shop isnt it?.
