Yes...and it is believed he also had a collection of weapons...knives, swords etc., but NO proof yet available that this little dab is dead.
Details of the charges laid against Mark Bridger are as follows:
Murder, contrary to common law
Attempting to pervert the course of justice, contrary to common law
Child abduction, contrary to Section 2 of the Child Abduction Act, 1984
Whilst I realise that the police need to keep evidence safe....I think they owe it to the family, searchers...and the rest of us to, at least, state...categorically...that there is no way she is still alive. Until they do this...I..and many others..will refuse to accept that she has to be dead.
Hi, say I read something and need to put a link to it, say sky news, an article in the papers, etc., in order to show where i found it. Thanks.
If he pleads not guilty, which I bet he will,
If he pleads not guilty, which I bet he will,
I may have this wrong, but I didnt think he would plead anything at this time.....
the charge goes forward, he gets his solicitor/barrister appointed ( which I dont believe is as random as some think, but thats the cynic in me ) and then, at the hearing in a few months time, this is the point at which he enters a plea, after his barrister and legal team have had time to review the evidence and discuss options with him
I'm kind of shocked that they didn't say anything else in this press conference really. I want to know if he's being co-operative, if he's given the police any direction in where to search and why they think it's him (in general).
Frustrating
I'm wondering if they charged him with the lesser charges in order to possibly use them to possibly get him to say where April is? Maybe they will drop the lesser charges if he tells them? Something like that?
I am thinking the extra charge means no, he is not helping in any way.

I believe that the police have proof in spades that she is dead. They won't share any of it with us, the public, or the media. (Neither will they share it with the family, by the way)
I think the searching is continuing just in case there is something to find that will help the police, not neccessarily a body.

Yes, that is my belief as well, that he has said nothing
