Not a crime but an indicator of his character.
Millions of people around the world lie, for all sorts of reasons, many good ones, sometimes for a joke, being a liar on its own is never an indication of a murderer
Not a crime but an indicator of his character.
Well, long as it never harmed anyone i dont see it as a massive dealI don't think it was a criticism, more to say That him 'pretending' to people he'd been in war zones wasn't a nice thing to do!:blushing:
Oh, i've missed that, anymore info or a link plz?
impersonating? wasnt aware he impersonated anyone.
Flash or not, its not a crime to say you are ex army as its not a crime lying on your cv or lying to impress a girlfriend etc etc
His sister's boyfriend has![]()
The Judge at Crown Court commented to the prosecution that 'matters may develop'.
It doesnt really apropos my post
I don't know about the UK, but it is an offence in Australia (impersonating a veteran).
Lying on a CV may be an offence depending on the lie.
So the CPS isn't enough to convince you that it isn't a conspiracy with the police for whatever reason?
I thought that was a significant comment: "Matters may develop."
Develop from existing evidence, develop if and when they find AJ's body, or does the comment mean something else?
Isn't this the exact problem MB faces (and therefore justice faces), when someone makes a comment (and we have no idea of their agenda, nor can it currently be refuted or explained) and suddenly it becomes fact or at least it has a bearing on how people see someone.
Maybe MB is a fantasist - doesn't make him guilty of this crime.
Maybe MB is a womaniser - doesn't make him guilty of this crime.
Maybe MB had numerous jobs - doesn't make him guilty of this crime.
Maybe MB worked in an abattoir - doesn't make him guilty of this crime.
Maybe MB had loads of empty alcohol containers - doesn't make him guilty of this crime.
Nor do any of the above make him innocent.
The point is it IS interesting that so many people, on so many forums, and in my own circle of friends, feel that something about this case just doesn't smell right.
It's not a question of innocent or guilty - it's that the pieces (as we know them) do not fit together. One car description one day, a different one the next...and so on.
Unfortunately, we are all human and the people that we most look up to and expect/ hope to behave appropriately and honestly do not always do that.
Clutchbag posted a link from the BBC the other day about how certain police forces were known to not be as straight forward (ahem) as others and we all know about the reports of weapons of mass destruction etc....so, I am going to keep an open mind and try to only focus on what we know to be absolutely true - and as yet, there is very little actual factual information available.
I dont think there is such an offence, again, he hasnt impersonated anybody, and even if he did does not point to much imo
All those points could describe thousands and thousands of normal people, hardly a worthy profile of a murdering paedophile.
I may have fish and chips tomorrow, or may be not.I thought that was a significant comment: "Matters may develop."

Disrespectful yes, but we have no proof he has ever done, or said such a thing. I've always found that men who are lucky with the ladies have a jealous male following. It doesn't mean he's pretending to be another persona, it means he is pretending to be a war veteran. In my view it means a lot, to pretend to be a Special Services vet, not even a regular digger, is disrespectful to genuine vets who are out there risking their lives and not always coming home unscathed.
True, although I haven't had a nice piece of fresh roe for agesBet you will, it's Friday![]()
