GUILTY UK - Arthur Labinjo Hughes, 6, killed, dad & friend arrested, June 2020 #3

She won’t get out, he will & it won’t be forgotten what he’s done. He’s safer in jail than he is out here & that is now or in 14 years time. People won’t forget this crime, it’s touched too many of us. I’m glad I’ve read this thread, I’ve been really struggling to eat, sleep & I can see a lot of fellow empaths on here. That boy was so strong how he came from such a wimp as that excuse for a father I will never know.
I think TH will be given new identity and live far from S.
I remember these 2 killers of a toddler - they also were kids (I cant remember their names for the life of me).
They were protected when left the prison, given new names.

which witness said the death wouldn’t affect him?
I think it was Shane Hawkins, ET's ex who described her in court as an "excellent mother". I'm not 100% certain though.

Thought as much he’s a muppet clearly looking at his past record.

<modsnip: Quoted post was removed>

Im going to wait impatiently for General Attorney's verdict!
When I think of this sadistic monster leaving prison in 14 years' time, my blood pressure is dangerously rising :(

You have to wonder what both of them thought that the end result was going to be of their cruelty and violence to a little boy.
Did they really believe that when (not if), they killed him that they were going to be believed that he did it himself or were they so caught up and enjoying torturing a little boy that they could not see ahead?

She was sooo arrogant and deluded that she herself believed the rubbish she was spouting to the Police in this cam video.
But then, she is mentally disturbed/ill.
And his face is free of thoughts.

I have no idea what this "commemorative brick" means.

The only memorial I read about are the 6 trees planted somewhere by local people, not a family.
I read that DH, brother, said they gave money from the fund to Olivia's family for funeral.
It’s a special brick with Arthur’s name on, 2 bricks to be precise because of the length of his name. Which forms part of a wall at Birmingham City Football Club.

You do have to wonder what they thought end game was going to be. I definitely think they wanted to kill him, I wonder if they actually discussed it? A part of me thinks they didn’t discuss it, but they just couldn’t stop punishing him & she was hoping for the inevitable result but that TH would be the one who would take the fall if it all came on top.

I think that they enjoyed it. They could have allowed him to live with either grandparent but enjoyed torturing him too much.

Thats why they shouldn’t ever be let out, the prolonged suffering & the enjoyment they’ve got from it takes this to another level of sickness that they have in them and can never be taken away or cured

In my opinion, ET genuinely believed that Arthur was the obstacle to her "matrimonial bliss" with TH.
He was the son of her rival, Olivia. She was insanely jealous and terrified that TH might return to Arthur's mother one day.
That's why, in her mad mind, she decided to get rid of the child.
Ruthlessly - like a maniac that she is.

I repeat - she is not of the sound mind.

It is the woman who jumped out of the window, when her partner decided to meet friends.

And, who jumped from the 6th storey, when another one decided to leave her.

Well, nobody mentions it any more.

My friend, in her youth and when she was having her first baby laid down in the driveway behind her husband's car when he was going to the pub. He drove around her!

New to WS but have followed this case as I’m from around the area and know of a few of the people involved. I don’t know them well enough to have any new insight.

regarding the funeral, I’d like to see it made public. It’s affected the community deeply. I understand the families will want their own ceremony but I do feel the public should be able to say their goodbyes too.

I also found it odd how much press Olivias Mum has done. I have read that she called SS and WMP but found no mention of that during the trial reports. I also thought it was odd that there was no mention of Arthur crying out for his Mum or her Mum.

I saw DH’s Facebook post that suggests Olivias family didn’t stay with Arthur until he died. It does make me question how close they were.
I agree with the public funeral.
Let Arthur be surrounded by love in his death if he was robbed of it during his life.

Let his school friends attend.
As they were stolen from him by the monsters :(

Welcome @DexMan
You know i was thinking the exact same thing, its like Olivias Mum is courting the press now, but seems odd to me the last time she saw Arthur was in Oct 2019, she says TH refused to let her see him, but apart from ringing SS and police, which i have only ever heard her mention, she didnt have much involvement. Odd Arthur never cried out for her or Olivia, unless ET tried to hide this. Yeah also thought that was sad that she left at 11pm the night Arthur passed away as it was "getting late". So hard to know though, its been a traumatising time for both families. There was a mention somewhere that TH's Dad was very much loved by Arthur and TH's Mum more of a motherly figure and i didnt hear a mention of Arthur crying out for his grandfather but maybe he was

ADMIN REMINDER:

Some posts have been removed. Discussing information from a private facebook group is not allowed.

Private means private !!

@Carroll520 I also read in papers about Olivia being privately educated. I have friends who went to school with her from the age of 9. It wasn’t at private schools. Maybe before then. But it does make me question the accuracy of everything reported.

The more I think abt it the more inconsistencies I see

Olivia mum has said vehemently that she thought those bruises were deliberate to JH that night…. She rang the police and ss…. They gave a flimsy record of a tidy house and weren’t concerned….
So what?? They were concerned weren’t they??? Both grandparents saw the bruise…. They had Arthur’s actual words to say ET did it. They both reported he looked increasingly unhappy there….. so what if SS didn’t see a concern

i just don’t understand how such major concerns were so quickly squashed…..

As a teacher and a nurse both grans would’ve known that Arthur was vulnerable + now out of everyone’s sights… in lockdown. How could they go weeks and weeks with no contact or even just driving there to see him.
I would’ve camped out front in my car to just see his face

After both the grans chat that night … did they not speak again ?! Abt the concerns…..

I also think it’s strange that olivias mum said she didn’t know he was living with ET. Thought they were still in the annexe

I would assume the night JH went over with the bruis pic that would’ve been mentioned!!

Am I crazy ?!
If I had such concerns I just wouldn’t have left things after SS deemed it ok to be honest

SS are under the pump and perhaps make errors in judgement as often as they rescue children …. I just would’nt have taken their word for anything

just my thoughts guys I’m just confused anc feel there are some holes of information we don’t have.

I do however feel for rep JH and she no doubt must be riddled with the what if’s….

no one could’ve foreseen what happened to the extent it did..

<modsnip>

I wonder if she was able to see Arthur that evening in may …. I think she didn’t see him as there’s no mention of that …. jusr that TH threw the keys at her….

Yet again alarm bells would be going off. Why was Arthur not allowed to just say hi through the window

ahhhh. So many questions in my head. Sorry if I’ve rambled on ❤️
