TH can be all of those things without having a diagnosed learning disability. His defence would certainly have mentioned it, it would be presented as a mitigating factor.
Of course :)
That is why I wrote MOO.

One more thing...
ET had TH beaten by her ex..

I wonder if this ex was the same one who gave her a "black eye and broken leg" as a birthday present?
What a company!
I bet her neighbours were terrified.

I'm even getting wound up by the journo writing 'mom' and not 'mum'. :D

I don't mind it when it's used in America. He was born in England, I've checked.

'Mom' is commonly used in the Midlands.

Didn’t ET testify that her and Shane were put on a parenting course by social services after an argument? The likely course of action if he was responsible for the broken leg and black eye, wouldn’t have been a parenting course.

I’m believing him so far. It seems he’s had time to reflect and isn’t under Tustin’s monstrous spell anymore. He’s thrown her under the bus by not backing up her ridiculous salt on the foo-foo nonsense story. She might have been expecting him lie for her. It certainly seemed like that was the plan in the covert recordings.

I honestly think ET will be blaming Arthur when her, no doubt horrendous mug shot photos are released. Seriously I think she will be more bothered by her true physical self being reveled than her revolting true nature

I’m beginning to wonder if one of the reasons ET hated Arthur with such intensity was because he looked so much like his mother?

One never knows what a mentally unstable (suicidal in her case) person thinks.

She might have been jealous,
or angry that her hard earned "peace and quiet" had been disrupted,
or relished her "power" over a vulnerable child and a weak man,
or....
many other things we don't even suspect.

I don’t think she ever knew the mother. I believe she hated him as he took attention away from her.

I don’t think she knew the mother either. But in some cases, the new partner can sometimes be insanely jealous of their partners ex and the past they shared.

Just pondering really and questioning if that sort of possessive jealousy was exacerbated by the fact that Arthur resembled TH ex.

Tustin certainly seemed to pin some of the problems on Arthurs mum wanting contact. Clearly this was a problem for her.

I kind of believe him too, although it doesn't take away the fact he put his child I'm harms way. He's a very weak man.

The part about when Arthur wanted to cook her breakfast or mother's day and she said she didn't want anything from him. Absolutely heartbreaking, I can imagine the rejection Arthur felt. Vile woman.

You know, it just made me think...

We all know that her state of mind was not stable.
She had horrible life (thrown out of home at 17 when she got pregnant),
had abusive partners (4 kids with 3 men, all left her,
2 children taken away from her,
tried to commit suicide, etc.).

Now she had at last a home and 2 children, living in relative peace,
she was obssessive about tidiness, everything had its place,
she had her routines (hair done, brows care, etc. ).
She felt the lady of the house, a kitchen her domain,
felt proud of her culinary talents and the fact that she was able to feed her kids.

She seemed to care about her children, organised picnics for them, kept friendly relationship with their father.

And suddenly a little boy arrived, a boy with troubled childhood, lively, energetic, demanding.

Her routines (very important for unstable people) were in danger.
TH didn't seem to spend a lot of time with the boy, she complained about it.

She felt lost and reacted in only way she knew: with aggression and violence.

She saw the boy as menace to her idealized life she at last had.

And the rest is history.

This is my view taking into account her state of mind,
the fact that she stopped taking her medication which I think was prescribed by a psychiatrist.

Of course, I might be wrong.

I still consider her a monster and think the only fair sentence will be a life sentence.
And for him - the same.

I think so too that he was disruptive of her routine. I mean I can kind of understand in some ways she was disabled, unable to work and locked up inside due to covid with a bold, relentless child. But I don't think Arthur was at all bold. I think he disturbed this little idea she had of her life and what she wanted and she didn't picture someone else's child joining her family unit and therefore he had to go.
I wonder did she ever date other men who had children and was she cruel to them? Or maybe it was just that they moved in so soon because of lockdown and it was all too much of a disturbance in her life and she freaked out? I think she was used to living with her own kids, sometimes maybe another man but when there was a child around that wasn't hers she wasn't used to it. i think I'm explaining this badly but I am trying to say that people who are mentally ill aren't used to things changing around them and sometimes act angrily to this change

'I've said it's all me' - What murder accused dad secretly told girlfriend

Mr Richmond asks if Tustin's conduct during an argument was similar to her conduct whilst giving evidence during the last few days.

Hughes: "She was a very argumentative person, it was similar to how she has been shown in this courtroom."

Sounds like Tustin has made a terrible show of herself in court.

I think she was an evil woman who wanted a scapegoat. I think she took pleasure in hurting Arthur. She was sadistic and I bet he was not the first child she harmed.

oh my goodness! Heartbreaking... this must have been at the beginning of their relationship. Narcissists do this thing called “love bombing” where they pretend to love you intensely in the beginning and then turn against you as time goes on.
