I think it was for what he did to Arthur. But the way they said i was in school with him made me think he didnt like him in school. But that was me jumping to conclusions

I wouldn’t admit I went to school with him I know that much! I take all social media posts with a pinch of salt. It’s like I posted before, social media will have you believing someone is living and idealistic life when behind closed doors, it can be the complete opposite. Maybe TH was awful at school, maybe he wasn’t? I’m certain that a lot of information will come out after this trial about them both.

This is why I gave up my social media accounts. The amount of self glorification was unreal. People running a marathon for likes, someone else booking a holiday just for insta. Someone else shaving their hair off for a cancer charity just to get a sponsorship deal. It's so shallow and fake

I wonder if it's a case of folei a deux? It's the only thing I can think of to explain why he changed so much? I read elsewhere that he was a good dad by someone who knew him. He'd take Arthur to football practice. Someone else used to see him at kids parties and said he was a good, normal dad.

Yeah could very well have been with the isolation of lockdown not helping.
I hope he was a good father to Arthur before meeting ET, be nice to think Arthur had a good quality of life before these horrors

Bullying at school? Not achieving academically like his peers? We’ve already heard he struggled academically…

It’s not always “home life” that causes issues with children. It can be peers, educational settings, after school activities, the wrong crowd.

I wouldn’t place blame on TH parents for how he turned out. Especially after testifying in court as a prosecution witness….. just saying.
All of these count of course.
But if you are raised as a confident person, knowing that you can rely on your family in whatever difficulty, have positive feedback about yourself, are treated with respect - then you will never turn to violence finding a vulnerable scapegoat.
Especially your own child.

I read elsewhere that ET had tried to run a group of girls over, one of the girls had been seeing her brother and they'd split up. She was well known in the area for being a loose cannon

Wow! Off the wall behaviour

No, I don't believe that. Chris Watts was a perfect father and husband too, until he wasn't.

Do you know, that’s the same thing I was thinking but could not remember the name of it? Just that it was French. That will be my research for tomorrow because I really do not think I can handle any more sections and sub sections today

I had to Google the name for it as well!

Dropped his beautiful, clean, little, three and five year old daughters in vats of dirty black oil.

When checking him a search thread came up.

Evil 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. What was his reasoning?
He was having an affair. He murdered his pregnant wife too. There is a netflix documentary on it, he looks like butter wouldnt melt too

So I just read that he gets fanmail, and people send him money to contribute to the costs he has to pay to his wife's family. And his girlfriend is still in contact with him!
He thought the oil would disintegrate his 2 baby girls. WTF.
And yes he does look like butter wouldn't melt.

I’m thinking she changed her name due to the fact she has no contact with her eldest children whatsoever and somehow ended up having 2 more children (who also had a file opened and closed with SS before Arthur even came along). JMO

How many children does ET have?

Thanks. I hadn't been following this case closely. Did she raise/have custody of them? From what I have gleaned from reading the more recent posts, she had 2 miscarriages, and 1 termination with TH. Is that correct? I'm trying to get a picture of the larger dynamics at play here, so please bear with me.

ET I believe is said to have 4 children with 3 different fathers. After the suicide attempt 2 children went to live with their fathers. Where has it been said they were “removed” and that there’s no pictures or anything of them in the house? I don’t recall reading that, but between this and Star, I might have missed something.

Regarding ETs mental state and any meds she was on. For a personality disorder, there generally aren’t meds. I know BPD (emotionally unstable) has been discussed before, based on testimony, she does sound like/remind me of my abusive ex who had BPD. I believe she also mentioned she had anxiety and depression. So potentially the medication she could have been would have been a SSRI and beta blockers for the anxiety.
