I wonder if SaW and the boys noticed Scott hobbling a bit in the days following Bernadette's disappearance. You'd have a bad back after digging a hole and dragging a body if you had a pre existing back injury that prohibited you from working.

For some reason, this area caught my attention. Is anyone more knowledgeable about that general are? East and South of PMK Recycling and Cemex Baston Fen Quarry and Concrete plant, there is a lot of wetland, for lack of a better word. There might be places where water is easy to access via the small roads. Some of it is probably a recreational area, like the farthest East end, but I suspect there might be plenty of murkier and more hidden or industrial parts.

It was certainly well within his reach. I believe he used to live out that way too.

I feel she is closer to home .
There is some land on the way into the dogsthorpe estate - opposite the old dump . It’s just had a large skip removed . Been there years .
Makes me wonder if she is in there .
Also , the eye green houses . They was being built at the time she went missing - their foundations . I feel also she may have been put in one of them over night before then the workers carried on building without knowing .

That crossed my mind too. With it being a weekend, building sites with foundation trenches ready to be filled would be ideal disposal locations. As would spoil tips in the numerous working quarries to the East of Peterborough.

Still breaks my heart this one, I doubt much of her very short life was enjoyable. Whilst I wanted to believe she may have escaped and been living her life elsewhere, 4 years later with no word I have to accept the reality.

Do any followers of this thread know when SW's inquest will be held? It's almost 9 months since he died in prison and still no word on the cause of death. Seems odd that there was such a gap in releasing the information that he had died and then nothing since.

Just looking at the case of multiple murderer Damian Rzeszowski, who hung himself in HMP Full Sutton in March 2018, and his inquest took place until April 2023. A five year gap. So I'll not hold my breath.

I've looked back on old links. BW's facebook page has been edited recently. I don't know why or by who but all of the info like SW saying the man who kisses you should have my face in their head, or similar. It's all gone post mortem.

Yes it does seem the privacy settings have been changed recently. I wonder who has access to her account. Presumably SaW as it has only been changed now.

Yes it has to be SaW, it will be a control thing. I do think she will trip herself up one day. And I can't wait until she does.

SaW recently had a relationship that was played out on Facebook that didn't last long. Perhaps he found out. She was a Nanny (unbelievably) in that persona. I still think she should have had the same murder sentence. There's no more 'please find my daughter' now she's out, and 'reward paid by Mum'. Campaign to find her remains? In MOO, she knows where Bea's body is. She should still be locked up until she's 70 at the earliest. She's been out a year and has shown none of the grieving Mother.

Yeah, that poor sucker dodged a bullet. She hasn't exactly presented herself as the harrowed mother of a missing daughter since leaving prison. I doubt she has been in contact with the police or been out searching. I don't recall her having posted in the Find my Sister FB page.

Hi I'm new here but I live locally and have always kept an eye on this tragic story and searched when I can.
I've recently been out searching again now it's winter and gone down the rabbit hole (through the evidence available etc)
Only recently discovered this site and the helpful timeline post which saves so many tabs!

I saw a few commenting about scw's cause of death, I saw one comment on a YouTube channel from someone who seemed to know him saying it was cancer and he refused treatment (which would make sense with the comments about his ill health at the sentencing.

I've always had a feeling about the woodlands between gunthorpe and Werrington,I know it must have been searched but the original search was mainly water based and the rest got restricted because of overgrowth due to weather conditions, it would make sense for the 2 hours in uldale way, there's a discreet parking spot there you can theoretically get to the bridge to the woodland via alleyways,would be fairly discreet at 2am (8 steps recorded could mean 4 to get a shovel from the back of the van then 4 to leave his phone in the car maybe? ).

Saw: one thing I learnt here that I never saw down the rabbit hole was that she was released! That honestly sickens me that at this point nobody is paying for what that poor girl went through! I had a thought if she dies in fact know where bw is (which we all know the answer to that) maybe it's worth revisiting some of the potential resting places are around bws upcoming birthday? If there's anything left in that monsters "heart" maybe she'll be dumb enough to leave a flower or something since it would be the first chance she's had to (depending on how long she's been out) also her name before is padley if that helps anyone,but I don't think she uses that account anymore.

I may know the location of the po box in scw's insta, I'm pretty sure it was sealed a couple of years ago but I'm gonna look into it at the weekend as it's possible to access in the timeline and through back roads (marholm)

I'm also wondering if the little field just behind scw's lock up, it's known locally as keetas field (after a local girl who tragically died there) there is a bit of land and overgrowth there and the 86 steps would get right in there, most of the houses around there are connected by overgrown,unused alleyways too if any of this helps

Well I'll likely see you about then as I'll be having a drive around and checking some spots I have theories about. Yeah I had a little look and nothings been built there ( I think there were campaigns to leave it as is because of what happened there,or add some kind of memorial there) the tragedy happened in 0, a young girl nikita died there from butane,had a huge impact on the local community and those of us who knew her. Just seems like a place that would stand out especially if you have the local insight like that maybe?
