GUILTY UK - Bobbi-Anne Mcleod,18, ‘did not arrive to meet friends’ Plymouth, 20 Nov 2021 *Arrest*

  • #181
Hello all, first time poster, been lurking this thread. I saw a comment on YouTube suggesting the victim knew a female family member of her attacker and this information is/was viewable on her facebook friends list. I am not a social media user so can someone else verify please?
Am not sure about rules on it, but discussions of other social media isn’t really allowed here because isn’t verifiable. I have t seen anything like that in the mainstream media. The police have stated there is no connection.

There is no one with his second name on her friends list, that's all I can tell you.

Is it just the murder charge at the moment?

I presume they are waiting on forensics for further charges?

But, if you are accepting a ride from someone you recognize and trust, why leave your belongings behind?

Has it been confirmed if her belongings were found at the bus stop or on the grass near to the bus stop? I know both locations have been reported.

I'm also wondering how well lit the area is, as it would have been dark at that time.

And does the underpass near the bus stop come into play?

Just from what I’ve read, anyone else think the police are being a bit vague about her mobile? It was handed into police?

I might be way off the mark here but my hunch is it was sexually motivated, and bobbi being so petite and young looking, he thought she was underage and that was what he was looking for MOO

I wondered if the phone was found in the vehicle by the other person who was arrested? Maybe they found the phone, realised it was hers (maybe photo on the home screen) and handed it in, which enabled the police to arrest them? dunno just having a think about it, as you're right they've not said, who ie. a member of the public found it and handed it in.

In his Instagram he posted a pic of the very beach he dumped her body, the pic was well before the murder, so I suspect there is some CCTV in the area that spotted some suspicious activity from him and that the car was maybe registered to the other person who was arrested and later released without charge, maybe a vehicle the band use to travel to their shows or something

The police made arrests very very quickly for a murder case

Agree that to have enough evidence to pass muster for CPS charge within a day or 2 is exceptional - they have incontrovertible evidence (and dna sequencing is not actually that quick!) or a confession imo.
Agree with others who say this was somebody who was sexually attracted to teens/young women. Wouldn’t surprise me to hear he had younger girls in the past or got with underage ones after gigs sometimes.

I just cannot fathom what makes someone want to take someone off the street for their own sexual pleasure and to close their eyes forever, it’s truly wicked.

Unsure if i am imagining it or not, but does the accused look embarrassed or afraid, also, do his hands appear to be bruised?
imo, speculation.

The bruising I suspect is a reflection of the glove of the prison officer

The afraid I suspect is realisation kicking in, with a case like this and her age a whole life tariff must be a strong possibility. Happened with Jamie Reynolds who similar age

They have kept him a long time at the magistrate's court.I wonder if they were worried about local people demonstrating their anger towards him so waited until now before transferring him .

For sure. People were commenting on his last insta pic that they were going to rush police and grab him.

I am about 5ft 5 (and female) and people will sometimes comment that I’m not very tall; which is quite true. But 4ft 11 is so small, it’s the sort of size that would make me feel protective if I knew Bobbi-Anne.

My mum was that height and I would physically stand in between her and other people on public transport for example, as her size made her seem a little delicate and fragile.

Any adult male could have very likely very easily overpowered her, she was tiny. I can’t understand the urge to hurt rather than to look out for someone. Sickening and saddening.

RIP.

I intended on attending tonight’s vigil however started with a cold this afternoon, didn’t want to spread it around .

With what happened recently in Keyham with the murder of five innocent people and the coward killing himself , it does appear that even though naturally people are raging and want to inflict pain on him, there is a lot of folk who want legal justice and want to hear why, not in a morbid way but why, when he didn’t appear to be lacking in female attention, obviously was a skilled songwriter, singer, guitarist, his band members appear to be the sort of men who wouldn’t stand by if they knew he was into underage girls ( going off their decision to disband)

Perhaps rightly or wrongly, if someone seems to be a loner and to be lacking friends and purpose etc, sometimes horrendous actions make more sense in context (they are no more forgivable of course, but it can be easier to see how they might have happened).

It’s early days but I don’t understand this one (I don’t tend to understand any murder cases though…)

Although I know 100% not to "expect" anything or any "type" when it comes to crime ..but I do get what you mean ..he was not what I was "expecting" .
I wouldn't be surprised if he has admitted his involvement..May get a guilty plea
