Imo that sounds like the police recieved information about the location

I thought the same thing, but it's impossible to know if that information was from a dog walker, the person who's been charged, or someone else?

When there is a high profile missing person case people are always urged by police to check their CCTV, I suspect someone was looking through CCTV of the car park of the beach or something and found some suspicious stuff on there and alerted police

Here’s Charlie B for reference. It’s very bright and difficult to pass off as civilian clothes. He was previously seen wearing a grey prison tracksuit. I would love to know what stunt he attempted to pull. I’m sure we will find out more later
Judge linford will be working on this trial. He has the nickname “lenient Linford” which is not good….

This is the Ministry of Justice's guidance to prisons on "E-list" prisoners: https://www.justice.gov.uk/downloads/offenders/psipso/psi-2015/psi-10-2015.pdf

It's pretty serious. You don't get that status just for having a 'plan' or some drawings of the prison grounds or from walking around "out-of-bounds" areas of the prison grounds. This suggests there was a serious attempt or serious plan/conspiracy to escape.

This is just madness.

Sounds like he’s hating prison already. This gives satisfaction to many after what he’s allegedly done.

We need a serious journalist to ask the question. The ban on reporting shouldn't cover the accused's behaviour in prison as it's not directly related to the alleged offence. But all the journos today were all like "oh never seen that uniform before" and didn't seem to bother asking why.

A passing driver, Stuart Fullard, 54, said he saw McLeod sitting on a metal rail at the bus stop. He noticed her because she was dressed distinctively in ripped jeans with fishnet tights underneath and because she looked so young – the 18-year-old was less than 5ft and could have been mistaken for someone much younger. Fullard has a daughter himself and said he felt nervous for her in the drizzly dark. “But she didn’t look as if she had a care in the world.”
