Well, if there's any significance at all to the escape suit thing, then it might be worth considering that the other, similarly dressed, defendant I mentioned upthread allegedly dismembered his victim with a chainsaw. Afaik, there have been no PM findings mentioned yet with regard to Bobbi-Anne but we might want to look out for them (or their absence from the narrative).

I don’t even think Bobbi has been officially identified yet? Or have I missed this? Is this normal after as many days been found? I know it is her but I read her family we’re to be spared the trauma of identifying but still no official story on it.

...........An inquest into the 18-year-old's death will open on Wednesday December 1 at Plymouth Coroner's Court at 10am.

The listing states that Bobbi-Anne, whose middle name was Carrie, died on November 23. The coroner can only list one date on the website and police and court records currently state that Bobbi-Anne died between November 20 and November 23.

It adds that the place of death is Totnes - this is because Totnes is the administrative capital of the South Hams area, which includes Bovisand where the body was found........

I know the official line is that there's no connection between Bobbi-Anne and CA, but in fact they went to the same school, Tor Bridge High. It was called Estover Community College when CA first went there but changed its name when it became an academy in 2011 (Bobbi-Anne got there in 2014).

There's 6 years between them in age so their time there should have just overlapped, and Bobbi-Anne's older brother Lee, who also went there, would definitely have been there at the same time as CA. It's a big school but not huge compared with urban comprehensives - 900 in the main school and 350 in the sixth form - so I think it's highly plausible they were aware of each other or had mutual acquaintances, and possible that she recognised him sufficiently to trust him if he pulled over to offer her a lift, for instance.

Yep I feel like they weren’t romantically linked or even friends but might have seen around/have awareness of. Clearly youth wasn’t an off putting factor for him it would seem and obviously did find attractive! The band was known around Plymouth too.

Depends how successful his band was seen as being in the local area imo. Lots of schools have aspirational display boards or similar showing what former students are up to, and if he was a bit of a local celebrity there could well have been something up about him that she was familiar with.

Hard to gauge when you're not local and twice their age but from how people are talking I get the impression they were on the cusp of significant success (their split warranted an item in NME). I think they're quite good, if a bit Duranny - judge for yourself:

24-year-old Cody Ackland from the Southway area of Plymouth appeared at Truro Crown Court on Monday 29 November where HHJ Judge Linford remanded him into custody.

He is next due to appear at Plymouth Crown court on Monday 24 January.

Formal identification has now been completed and it has been confirmed that the body located in Bovisand on 23 November is that of 18-year-old Bobbi-Anne McLeod.

Her family have been informed of this update and have asked for their privacy to be respected at this time.

People have talked a lot in this thread about their surprise at how normal/good looking CA is. I've been surprised that no one has commented on his eyes. In every single photo I've seen (and I admit it's only a handful), he looks expressionless and his eyes look dead - for want of a better word. This includes photos from before. There's one which particularly struck me: of him and his bandmates, a normal group gathering together at the pub type photo. The others are all happy smiling, clearly on a night out. He's totally expressionless.

Would it be possible he had to wear the green & yellow suit due to him being high risk of attack? If he was dragged away anywhere they'd spot him straightaway. Or to stop anyone else being attacked if they were mistaken for him?!

I agree. 'Dead eyed' is exactly the phrase that came to my mind too.

Agreed. I found that really noticeable how dead his eyes looked in the first photo I saw of him, which might be the same photo you are describing.

I know the circumstances are completely different but I noticed how diligent the police are on removing / commenting on posts compared to the keyham murders .

On a different note, myself and my sister were talking about taking the dogs on a beach walk, we were naming local beaches, she said Bovisand and we both shook our heads at the same time . His actions really do have a far wider ripple effect, I expect families will chose other beaches to take their little ones . It’s not linked to a happy beautiful place anymore
