Could those dodgy dealings have possibly included the involvment of the policeman boyfriend?

I don’t know her policeman boyfriend was involved in any doggy dealing but I do find it strange and to be honest unbelievable imo the police have not talked about him!
I mean there are not that many policemen around .
Their lives and schedules are very closely documented aren’t they not?
Could the casual sexual partner be the policeman? And revealing what he does for a living would infringe on his privacy ?

I think they said he was married...it didn't say where he was from, so I think most people would have thought he was a York or Yorks police officer

I'm afraid I know nothing about claudia’s policeman.

I didn't know she had a policewoman friend....I take it this is just a friend and not a girlfriend....I dont think the posters got mixed up...if its not true then its just a rumour that seems to have been deliberately started...it wasn't just a police officer...they were saying they knew his identity.

popejohn....why won't you answer my other question or. are you still open on this.

the reason this case keeps us hooked as opposed to other cases I can think of....eg Janice Weston or the so called doorstep murder..is that it seems as though it. should be accessible and as though one extra clue or piece of evidence could be the key...I still think the solution will trickle out...just dont know how long it will take

Several friends of the chef, aged 35 when she vanished from York just over a year ago, have told her family she was involved with an ex-officer but they did not know his name or rank.

North Yorkshire Police are aware of the speculation but have said there has never been any substantiated evidence that she was involved with an officer.

Personally I see 2 Pint glasses, 1 wine glass, 1 visible plate and 2 dishes one visible fork posibly another partly hidden 2 Kitchen knives 1 glass on the left kitchen worktop
Looks to me like Claudia and friend were having a bite to eat Weds evening.

You wouldnt use a fork for breakfast cereal.. I think the bowls and forks held a dessert.

I dont know what the contents of her fridge/freezer were or indeed her bin but I suspect it wouldnt be difficult to work out what were in those bowls and plates as there appears to be crumbs on both and partial fingerprints toboot

I wouldnt be in a rush to wash the dishes if I was fiend was over for the evening

I do not think she had anyone the night she talked to her mum and dad .She would have said she could not talk long because she had company especially if she felt uneasy in their company!

If there was any staging at all it would have been just to put the the things in the sink from other parts of the house ..lets say if it was a tv dinner for 2 the glases and bowls on the coffee table in the lounge would be an obvious clue.
I dont think a lot was staged a bit of a clean up if people had been in and out of the front door as I suspect then yes.
I dont rate Mark Williams-Thomas much .. but in this video he says My police contacts are telling him that they clearly believe that those responsible for Claudias disappearance and murder have been in this house.
For me this intensifies my interest on the activity of the people and the vehicles outside Claudias house on the evening of the 18th.
Who was the male/female in her house that night and what was the connection between CL that person and whoever persons were in and out of her home that night

The all nighter was the Monday night PJ I doubt CL would have left those dishes in the sink for a couple of days.

We know that weds evening she:-
19:27 her phone called her father
20:08 -20:27 Claudia exchanged texts with her friends
20:04 -20:14 Claudia and her mother speak on the phone
21:12 the last text was received on Claudia’s phone and she failed to reply.
Lets lay aside the texts as you can text and converse with another person without the person you are texting knowing.

I dont know how long the calls were but CL could have made or received them when her house guest was in the house but not in the same room ie taking a bathroom break, outside smoking a cigarette or making some private calls himself.. They could of even gone out to costcutters or the Nags for all we know because we arent sure who it is (not yet anyway)
