absolute respect Kir....there certainly seems to have been something on an unusual scale for York going on then.

I can't get to dans Facebook page, so I can only guess at what is there....but it doesn't say much for him if his friends feel they can post these comments....the only thing I can remember about him is that he said that it was the problem of distance that scuppered the relationship.

have they just started making these kind of comments.....in which case, why now

I dont see why they shouldn't bring in dan ....presumably again

With respect bringing people in without concrete new evidence is a waste of time !
Dan probably has and still is fully cooperating with the police imo
Also for example he said it was the distance that broke the relationship but that could simply be just a small part of the truth !

yes, I suppose you're right popejohn...they must have dan covered and, to be honest, ive never thought about him too much ....

but, you know, you wouldn't tolerate these things being said about a casual friend...and probably not about someone you disliked unless you really hated them when it was almost certain they had come to harm

If and when you know you are absolutely innocent of what you are being accused you go along with it for awhile at least !

Im not sure how you work when you looking at a case @cortina I know people work very differently when researching and gathering information.Because its has been suggested on the forum that some people can influence others by saying what the believe they can see on cctv footage its prob best not to get into any more detail here. I can say I started with the bus cam footage as it travelled down Heworth road on the night of the 18th and things developed from there.

I would add reg plates are not always a reliable source to track for obvious reasons they may be false or a gang may have arrived at the location in vehicles picked up enroute from other members of their network which bore york plates to avoid suspicion

I don’t know much about claudias family life, but why do you say the idea is preposterous? This may be due to knowledge or following the case for years etc. I ask as family,friends, relatives and colleagues would be always looked into first! What makes you rule this out? As I said, I ask as I am curious to know more on the family x

its probably just banter, I agree...and I really dont think dan was involved as an ex boyfriend....but it would be interesting to know if there was any connection. between dan and claudia and the drugs supply chain.

not that im doubting kirs assertion about the. Manchester drop.....but there seems to have been a more mundane connection between York and the north east
