Other than AC son, barman Dave and JK I can think of three other women I worked with: a blonde lady called Karen (who I think Rodney Ballard mentions encountering in his strange posts) a Geordie lady and a woman who lived in Stockton on the Forest. Can't remember their names unfortunately. All of them were married iirc with kids.

If Rodney stayed at Nags then he may well have encountered Karen?

Is Rodney the one who placed a wreath on Claudia's door at Christmas time?

I believe so-Strange how this was frowned upon. Many tributes are left for famous people and no action taken.

I think it was seen as a symbol of death when some, e.g. JL, believed she could still be alive. Therefore it was viewed as disrespectful to the family.

Does Jen King have a point here?:

"We recognise 100 per cent that the boys, friends, lovers involved in Claudia's life should have been investigated and questioned deeply because statistically it should have been one of them, but realistically, it wasn't. I feel the boys were all treated equally unfairly and far too late in the investigation. If they were going to arrest them, they should have done it in 2009 so they could have cleared their name in 2009 and let them get on with their lives.

"It felt like an excuse to prove they were doing something but I have to believe what they were doing was for the greater good and in the interest of finding Claudia. Obviously, it didn't help find Claudia.

To a certain extent, yes she does. The arrests were carried out by the team under taking a review, so perhaps they had different lines of enquiry to follow up.
She cannot be certain though, that Claudias disappearance was not related to anyone she (Claudia) knew. You never know everything about someone. I think the person who took Claudia was someone she knew. On the fence about who it was though.

Thanks, I am trying to be ballanced about my investigations thus far and whilst JK can be a very annoying and sometimes comes across as insensitive, I feel that she had a point here. But-You are right-She may not know who "Frank and the Boyfriend" are :)

Hi @MajorLang
This must be one of the fullest updated accounts online now of CLs case. Well done.
I have just read your updated log and it raises a couple of queries and thoughts.
1. When JK last saw CL: Here's some info which states the Cheltenham race day was Fri 13th March following on with drinking into Sat 14th March - not Sat into Sunday.
Jen last saw Claudia at the Nags Head just three days before she went missing. She says: “We’d all been in the pub for Cheltenham Day on the Friday before she disappeared. We had both been drunk. She had beer fear. If she’d been drinking she was always worried she’d done something to upset someone. She never had. “Then after I saw her on the Sunday we texted like normal. [Clarification on those dates - Cheltenham races ran Tues to Fri. Sunday must have been a separate session at the Nag's Head!]
2. CCTV Heworth Place/Lime Court. 7pm Wed 18th March: Most people assume alley man was avoiding the man walking past on Heworth Road because he stopped in his tracks and waited for him to pass. What if he was doing the same the following morning in that cctv from Thurs 19th March? Rather than going to the alley to complete a task of some description, what if he had been hanging around outside Claudia's house, saw the guy walking on the opposite side and decided to disappear out of sight quickly round the back? Whether he knew the other man may be immaterial to the case - it might be that he simply wanted to avoid being spotted by anyone & came back once he assumed the coast would be clear.
3. Silver saloon in cctv images at Melrosegate. I hadn't realised this vehicle also appeared in the daytime cctv from Wed 18th March. It is now apparent this was a taxi as the licence plate is visible in the bottom right corner. No doubt this will fuel the Christopher Halliwell theories.
4. Motive for murder. We know Claudia had a new boyfriend. What if she met, spoke on the phone or texted her long standing lover on the afternoon/evening of 18th March to inform him she wanted to break off the relationship?

There was an information vacuum which delayed those arrests. There were countless appeals for people to be honest. Just because a man walks into the police station in March 2009 and confesses to having had an affair/fling with Claudia, that does not exonerate him. Didn't the landlord of a certain pub do just that but ended up being arrested in 2014? It could be argued that a person with something to hide might try to take control by attempting to eliminate themselves from the enquiry early on so the police stop digging around asking awkward questions. Whilst it must have been very disruptive in 2015, Ms King does not have the full overview of the case and has, by choice, positioned herself right in the middle of it. But she isn't in charge.

This Rodney pretends he was getting messages from beyond
Re fireworks the whole school would have known about the incident and therefore he was getting info from former school mates ?

thanks @Yozzer I will correct race day. The dark figure I don't think is avoiding Light figure as if you see him hesitate he does this well after light figure would have seen him, take a look again. I replayed the evening 18th one several times only yesterday and it is obvious that these two are working together. There is little said of Light person but they do feature in both CT. clips. The only difference being that in the morning Light person is in the opposite side of road and is seen later at Cost Cutters. Remember that we said the person appeared to be wearing clothes too big for them and @moonsafari pointed out that she thought Light person may also have had a backpack concealed under their clothes. I don't think it's Halliwell as even if it wasn't him the police would want to close the case and solving Claudia and another Halliwell victim would be double points for them.

Agreed but how did he find out ? Who told him ? And what else was he told possibly by the same person ?

I think he would like us to believe Claudia told him.

He didn't find out-He was relaying a message from the dead and only the dead could have known about the fireworks. Was he relaying a message from Claudia
He did this to prove he was a genuine medium.
