Reading through the lastest posts, I have the following questions:
  1. what was Claudias work pattern? Was it a regular pattern or did it change (e.g. earlys and lates)?
  2. was the early starts a sudden change in pattern or was it just a change over to another shift?
  3. If, it was a sudden change to earlys and the thinking was this was a planned abduction - who would know about the sudden change or even any change in Claudias work pattern?
Had anyone any thoughts on this, it seems important

I am sure one of Claudia's colleagues at York Uni would be best placed to answer these questions. I wonder if any are reading this thread?
Friday was going to be lunch with her father.

im sure they would be but I’m also sure they’ve been told not to talk to any one by the Police

I think it was Moonsafari who was asking earlier about rear garden access to Claudia's property.
See the attached link to a 22 second video clip of police in CLs garden in 2014.
police re-enter her house to look for clues; EXT GVs Forensics... Stock Footage Video - Getty Images

1) Around 7 seconds in, note the policeman entering via a wooden arched gate fixed between a brick building and a fence. Can anyone work out the whereabouts of this building as it is not on the current google earth map?
2) In same clip, note the 2 grey wheelie bins. Do any York locals know whether the wheelie bin system was in use in 2009 or do we think these were police bins used for collecting evidence?
3) Again appealing to people who know these properties and Websleuths who were on this case 10 years ago: does anyone recall discussions on here about the fences between properties (separating the gardens) having gates fitted so, in theory, anyone could enter their neighbour/or any number of neighbours' gardens, via these gates. I recall it was considered a criminal's haven by Websleuths then and it is possible that since police presence in the area, householders have taken advice and replaced their fencing with more robust structures.

But reflecting on the many recent (as well as past) discussions on how someone could be removed via the rear of the property, this was not as difficult as one would imagine.

Funny how that memory was triggered from watching that short clip. Thoughts or memories anyone?

We can only reassure them that they can post anonymously and there are ways of disclosing info ("a friend who lives in York told me" etc) without identifying yourself.

How does this fit with the text to JK about working 12 days on the trot? Or doesn't it?
I suppose what we don't know for sure is when that run of shifts which CL apparently informed her of, would have started. Was she using this as an excuse to bail out of the Cyprus holiday plan either due to cost or wanting to be with alleged new boyfriend? Remember CL had also informed her pharmacist friend from Boots about these shifts so it was probably true and NYP would have checked with work.

The thing is if important information comes out here before police have the chance to act on it, might ruin the chance of a conviction .
Let’s say the police put a name to the cigarette butt. That does not prove anything .

Well clearly people aren't disclosing any info and therein lies the problem. I'm not seeing any queues forming at NYPs headquarters.

I bet the police have all the info they need but they are simply not joining the dots.
The investigation is for all intents and purposes closed.
I think only a confession or a body preferably alive turning up.
