Thanks as always @Pinkizzy
I hadn't seen this program before so it helps to improve my understanding of things. The only new bit was about her phone being switched off at "Midnight"?
@Yozzer reference your comment last night about the CCTV of her posting letter that was removed from the NYP website, this can be seen on this video at 11 mins and 55 secs.

"Rogues Gallery" Some of the people she was involved with?
"Brick wall of silence in the Nags Head"
"Left her house on her own two feet"
"A meeting has gone wrong"
" I don't believe that she was abducted on her way to work"

Very wise words from the experts...

Unless NYP can tell us where the hair dye was discovered [i.e. out on bathroom shelf or in bin] and if there were signs of recent activity e.g. towels with dye residue in bathroom, laundry basket, washing machine or laundered - it is difficult to determine timing. Generally, it is not the sort of stuff anyone would leave lying around open due to the chemicals. The guidelines state to dispose of contents asap.
Did she colour a friend's hair in the afternoon and in the early evening received a text asking for her to pop over and straighten their hair?
Using who’s straighteners?

Using who’s straighteners?
Who really knows?
If they were Claudias and used in someone else's hair then perhaps that's a good enough reason to dispose of them ?

See post #1388 Claudia's straighteners were missing and have not been found. Although I don't know who would have been able to tell that they were missing. I guess a genuine friend or her Mum. I did see a photo on here of Police removing boxes from the house. They were those semi transparent storage boxes. There was a faint outline of a box that could have GHD on it. A good quality straightener. However, it may be something that looked like that. Hard to tell really, so I wouldn't take it as gospel. No pun inteneded.

I posted the hair straighteners being taken as evidemce they were being removed from 15 Heworth Place which is the property of one of POIs
They were GHD straighteners but it was a box that they come in so not sure if it was THE straighteners. GHD was then a popular brand

Thanks, I think I may have confused people now. I forgot that it wasn't Claudia's house. Apologies.

No worries but I do believe it to be important as this house backed onto Claudias and possibly was the residence at the time of one of her friends

That was very interesting and a sober inspection of the facts as they were known in 2009. Did anyone else have the sound cutting off at certain points e.g. when 'Claudia' was in the kitchen at work with a colleague and a few other segments? I wondered if it was censored due to new GDPR rules because names were mentioned? Also interesting that none of her Heworth friends spoke on film.

@Yozzer Could be but i'm sure she was precautionary give her lifestyle. Also would she have been so happy during her last hours knowing this??? I believe that Person shared with Claudia details of some business involvement that if leaked would be catastrophic.
You're probably right but she could have taken that short trip after work to Boots in Heworth? And who are we to assume she wouldn't be happy about becoming pregnant aged 35?!

That could be the $64,000 question.
Claudia's straighteners may have broken somehow and she threw them in the bin before borrowing a friend's pair

Good spot LL. And as you say, GHDs were relatively expensive then but could have been bought as a birthday present. My eagle eye notes those GHDs in the evidence bag were removed from a property near to CLs home.

Or another explanation could be a friend borrowed Claudia's.

Imagine the scenario

Text

"Oh god my hair straighteners are not working and I've just got out the shower-you couldn't do me a favour, could I borrow yours"?

But who could send such a text?
