Perhaps there wouldn't be such a backlog in the courts if they could bring themselves to work five day weeks like the rest of us!I just remembered this is a Nightingale Court. Hopefully they wrap up the trial before Aldersgate closes!

I'm not sure that's fair - these were extras set up after all, it's not as if a backlog worsened and they just let it fester. There's (I think?) six Nightingale Courts specifically set up to help combat the COVID backlog. That's a lot of people working additional days in those locations!Perhaps there wouldn't be such a backlog in the courts if they could bring themselves to work five day weeks like the rest of us!
What on earth is going on?No trial listed for tomorrow
I've been wondering that very thing tooWhat on earth is going on?
Yes, what on earth is going on? This all seems very similar to the last trial where there were massive gaps. What on earth is going on?
Finally! I wonder how long they've been deliberating for. The reporting has been abysmal this time round.![]()

I have deleted my post - reason as above.
Agree re the reporting, it has been dire.

I think it has been because it is the second trial. The reporting has been good when something new has happened - MG appearing in his own defence / the new tent temperature witness / the reporting of previous convictions which was not allowed to be included last time, for example. Is it possible the reporting has been dire due to reporting restrictions ?
Hopefully the jury are now out or due to be out very soon ,so no more chance of either of them disrupting proceedings.I’ve been wondering if delays are due to MG representing himself and being incapable of complying with timing and procedure.
MG strategy of delays will cause jurors to drop out because of summer commitments?
