Gaynor 'would have been familiar' with the riverside park where she was last seen
Friends of missing mum Gaynor Lord today said she 'would have been familiar' with the riverside park where she was last seen.
A major police search has focussed on Wensum Park in Norwich, Norfolk, since her belongings were found on Friday night, five hours after she left work early.
The 55-year-old's glasses, trousers and shoes were found with other clothing, rings, a phone and handbag scattered in the beauty spot amid fears she entered the water.
Friends today said the park, around a mile from her workplace but the opposite direction from her home in King Street, was one of her favourite dog-walking spots.
Norfolk police force will give an update on the ongoing search efforts to find Gaynor at 2pm. Chief Superintendent Dave Buckley will deliver a briefing to journalists from the scene of the search efforts at Wensum Park.
