Leicestershire Police are appealing for help in locating an 85-year-old woman who was reported missing yesterday (Sunday 7 December 2025).

It is now known that Glenda Keal got on the number 158 bus at The Hollow in Earl Shilton just before 1.30pm.

She is known to have got off the bus at The Crescent in Hinckley at around 1.45pm and was seen walking towards Station Road.

However, her whereabouts remains unknown and officers are continuing to search these locations to find her. We are continuing to ask for anyone who has seen her to get in touch.

Glenda is described as around 4ft 11ins tall with short greyish hair. She wears glasses which have a gold rim. She was last seen wearing a dark-coloured coat.

Leicestershire Police have issued a new CCTV image and further information in the search for Glenda. The previous last-known sighting of Glenda was of her walking towards Station Road in Hinckley, Leicestershire. The image below shows her in Hawley Road in Hinckley, walking towards Westfield Road, just after 1.50pm on Sunday (7 December).

When I first opened the site in the link above there was a yellow popup saying there was helicopter and police activity over grassland.

I'm not sure if it was this case or something else.

This incident is around 10 miles (as the crow flies) from where Glenda was last seen. My guess is that it is unrelated, but you never know.
