Stewart is then asked about any new visitors to the house he would like to tell police about.
:“No-one springs to mind at all no. We’ve got the new man who’s come to design the conservatory. I’d have to look up his name, I can’t remember it even though I’ve met him three times”, he answers.....

<snip>

He had the opportunity to mention Sooty & Sweep...

When (if) he takes the stand, then prosecution is going to wipe the floor with him.

Wouldn't you just wash the duvet?

I have young kids and down the years they have puked on just about everything you can think of and especially their duvets and ours.

You don't throw away 100s of quid worth of duvet over a blood stain?

This whole business about the operation wound is unconvincing, as has often been said. It's remarkable how little mess there is even after quite big operations - and this was weeks later.

Pic of the kitchen in this article ,but cant see the flooring

That first year, I became friends through a Facebook bereavement group with a man whom I named in my blog Gorgeous Grey-Haired Widower (GGHW).Later, much to my surprise, we became a couple.

I think the only person who got a surprise was Helen

bIB - we could work it out from that floor plan, but I can't find it now. Agree it's relevant.

Stewart is now being asked to describe Helen as a person, what makes her tick, what does she like doing.“When she’s into projects, she’s into it and that’s it. In her mind she has it all played out. “She was feeling good about the wedding. It was the venue mainly, we had a photographer. “The venue went wrong. The week before April 11, we looked at a venue hall. It was stunning, we thought it was beyond us in terms of money. It was beautiful, you just had to see it to believe it.“But when we were sat there, we found out that the only date we could get is if someone cancelled. “We planned to get married on September 23 (2016). We’d been engaged for a while but not everyone knew. “My mum and dad didn’t know - they knew we were engaged but they only found out we were getting married through interviews for Helen’s book.”Stewart says Helen was frustrated. “The day after we were told the September 23 was available, we found an article in the paper that the venue was going to take some furniture away.“The venue said they would replace some of it - but the chandeliers, the mirrors and the beds, they were special, you had to see it to believe it. “The venue was for the wedding and the reception.”

Oh.

Describe Helen. She's into projects.

Meanwhile, the venue hall is stunning and beautiful and the fixtures and fittings are special.

We see him very clearly now.

You're right. Old house. Link here to Hartwell Lodge. Faded out photos but you can see from the kitchen one, is not the same house.

So true! If you were asked to describeyour partner you would be able to wax lyrical about their qualitiesand personality, especially at a time that you were very worriedabout them being missing. To start talking about the venue shows tome a complete lack of any affection or admiration for Helen and adesperate attempt to be constantly explaining her reasons for'running away'

Has this four figure sum of money, from the article above, ever been mentioned again? I can't recall if it has.

It's possible he had some wounds in that area too. I've got the main one by the belly button where they went in with the camera and then 3 smaller ones around where my galbladder was where they went in with the surgical tools and I think a drain. So I guess they might have accessed IS's bowel from one side with the tools.

Re IS's after care... my stitches are dissolvable so I was told to deal with dressings myself and that I only need to see the nurse if any of the wounds start "oozing" (bleurgh hate that word lol) so I guess it's possible that one of his was oozing.
