WHY would PR put Libby's address in the SatNav when clearly he knows where Wellesley is because he was literally masturbating on Wellesley only a few days earlier?? Did he do it on purpose just to make it look like he was going to take her home but he didn't? He KNEW where Wellesley is!

He could have asked Libby "What's your post code?" and entered it, without initially knowing which street she lived on.
He could have taken her somewhere else first, and then entered her address into his satnav to take her back home.
OR (and it's looking very likely) he just entered her address into his satnav to cover his tracks and help with his cover story :(

Police searching Raglan Street
Police officers have been seen entering a house in Raglan Street with rope and helmets.

Why would they need rope and helmets to search inside a house?? Removing flooring of the loft?

And which house? His again? Very ominous.

We can take one thing seriously and that is that Libby was in his car.

The rest may well be lies told by PR, but it is laughable to suggest his own family is putting Libby in his car if he had not admitted as much.

She didn’t say that he put Libby in the car did she? She said a crying girl. That could have been anyone at that time on student night. I just can’t see how you’d make it stand up. I honestly think this is the gutter press manipulating his family’s poor English.

Or, he might not have done this at all, as we only have his sister’s word on it. Could be complete fabrication in an attempt to save his bacon - which would suggest to me that it is him in the CCTV.

Just reading the Hull Daily Mail website.
Anyone else think they seem to be removing waaaay more evidence than just the stuff he was charged for burgling? Is this normal for them to take that much stuff?

OK, so this case has really been on my mind and here is what I think *if* he is guilty.
He seems quite confident to be breaking in to houses etc right near to his own house. I would not put it past somebody like that to be quite calculating. It is known for previous offenders to up their game as such and with that being said could this all be pre organised? He could have been parking where these unofficial taxis park in the hopes of a vulnerable lady coming along and being able to make his move. He looked at the cctv (providing it is him) so knew that's where it was, almost like he parked there purposely so that if anything came up he could say but I told you I was here and the cctv matches and his sisters story matches etc.
He could have planned a perfect spot for poor libby or whoever it may have ended up being beforehand.

It is standard in US investigations to take a lot of stuff in a potential MP and homicide investigation. I would imagine it to be the same there in an investigation of this magnitude, jmo.

He obviously told her this (if he did actually tell her this) before he was arrested - what a weird thing to say on the phone to your sister in a different country. Was he beginning to panic that the press had started to broadcast the disappearance and brought it up in conversation in case his family heard about it and mentioned it to him - like "Hey, did you know a girl has gone missing round the corner from you?". Or does he call her frequently and they normally discuss every detail of their day? Who knows, who even knows if he really did say anything to his sister - but if he didn't, I seriously cannot understand why she'd make it up and go to the press with it.
The sister lives in Hull doesn’t she?

That is what has been fascinating with the McStay case when the bodies were not found for 4 years

The amount of great potential evidence that was left behind in those first days ....

Sigh

"12:58
More officers appear in Raglan Street
Two more officers have just got out of a car further down Raglan Street. They have got out and made their way towards nearby Exmouth Street."

Yes, he is their main suspect. No way do Humberside police pour so many resources and evidence gathering into burglary. They are evidence gathering in regards to Libby, hence why he remains a person of suspicion in the case, not the charges he is currently being held on.

She very explicitly said that Libby was in his car. She also said that Libby asked him to take her home (which almost certainly was not true as she just lived around the corner) and that Libby 'threw herself' at him in the car (which is again almost certainly not true). So at a very early stage in the investigation PR told his family that Libby was in his car but lied about the reason and what happened there. In summary, we have somebody who has been charged with grossly perverted acts admitting to his family that Libby was in his car on the night she disappeared but lying about the circumstances. And there are some folk who are still desperate to believe that he's innocent.
