You are moving the goalposts.

Why would they release that information until they charge?
Because if they had found something they WOULD have charged.

It can't have been tinder because she didn't have her phone

She very explicitly said that Libby was in his car. She also said that Libby asked him to take her home (which almost certainly was not true as she just lived around the corner) and that Libby 'threw herself' at him in the car (which is again almost certainly not true). So at a very early stage in the investigation PR told his family that Libby was in his car but lied about the reason and what happened there. In summary, we have somebody who has been charged with grossly perverted acts admitting to his family that Libby was in his car on the night she disappeared but lying about the circumstances. And there are some folk who are still desperate to believe that he's innocent.
Is there a quote for that? I can only find ‘the crying girl’

Another officer enters the house
He is armed with evidence bags and has made his way in the property."

Probably she got some bad information of Facebook

I’m busy today but managed to pop in during a sneaky tea break.

All I can say is ‘Ew!’. Seems like PR is quite the deviant. Also, it’s brazen to rob houses but to steal sex toys from a house on your street! I genuinely feel for the victims of these crimes too as they will be feeling all sorts of ways about their privacy being invaded especially by someone so close by.

I’m thankful he has been remanded - I guess this is partly down to the connection to Libby as there is a risk he is involved and is displaying classic escalation. Secondly, I would say he is a flight risk.

Hope Libby is found today.

Id love to be wrong but i doubt poor libby is alive. Im sure the police would have watched the suspects movements before arresting him. If she was alive he would of visited her and led the police to her.

He's going to be mad with his sister when he gets out of jail in march isn't he!
We don’t know what his sister said.

Or, he might not have done this at all, as we only have his sister’s word on it. Could be complete fabrication in an attempt to save his bacon - which would suggest to me that it is him in the CCTV.
“Save his bacon” I see what you did there! :D:p
Sorry it just made me smile. There’s nothing funny about this entire situation

Right. So his own sister was approached by the media and just decides on a whim to tell them that her brother did indeed have the missing girl in his car - even though she has no reason whatsoever for saying it? Do you actually believe that she hadn't received that information from her brother? What about the claim that Libby threw herself at PR - did his sister merely imagine that too?

Yes we do. It's been all over the news what she said - whether it's true or not - we DO know what she said, at least what she said to the papers.

Hey all. Just caught up on all the threads! I’m a local and live off Chanterlands near the uni where I am also a (mature) student. Not much happening at uni today compared to last week where there were loads of police milling about. I’m going shopping soon but afterwards might take the dog for a walk down Newland and see what’s going on.

At first. I was convinced she would be found in the waterways as does happen now and again. Then the arrest happened and the cctv and now I’m not sure. I wonder why she didn’t go to the university if she was locked out of home. The library is 24 hours and she could access facebook etc to contact friends. Just one thought I had.
